I kinda think this guy is a little clueless.. Saying "This is a glass of water" is an absolute statement, while stating a hypothesis and defining a boundary between what your proposing, and not, is not an absolute statement. Both statements are different and they are not saying the same thing. The information "this is a glass of water" is providing insight that would suggest the speaker considers his statement simple, while the other speaker allows for more definiton.

I drove a nail.. that is it. The methods are not the same, and there will be subtle differences, along with extreme differences in the method and procedure.
