  • When Katrina came knocking, Bush was fishing! He didn't waste a thought on you people of New Orleans! Bush and Mc Cain...same deal! Time to do the right thing, vote Obama!

  • i thot u wer in 7th grade @ lusher?!?! i went 2 audubon wit u kalypso

  • New Orleans, you've suffered devastating fires and floods before...you WILL survive this too and come back stronger! You are the most wonderful, magical city in the U.S.! Vive la Nouvelle-Orleans!!

  • I agree with RDuppy. Your video impressed me, for someone so young yet with so much maturity. I wonder how you did this--editing, music, etc. Regardless, I think you should keep it up, for it gives me hope for the city. Good Job!

  • Brava, young lady! You are bright, sensitive and talented! You have a future that no hurricane or bumbling politician can destroy! I, like you, grew up the the city, but left there many years ago and now live in California. I have not been back to NOLA since Katrina. Not sure what my reaction might be. I don't want to see it without its smile. Your video, however, convinced me, I must come back for a visit..SOON!

Your parents should be, justifiably, proud of you!

    Reiss in California

  • What a great video - full of love for the greatest, most magical city in the world. Best to you and your family.

  • Stinking US Gov't: all they know is how to invade and bomb other countries. Damn place looks like the Philippines thanks to the idiot Bush-Cheney junta.

  • this july when i come to visit my house in new orleans again, i might make a katrina after 3 YEARS!

  • It's great the the US gov't spent so much money helping New Orleans instead of spending that money on a war!

  • man the government didnt spend that much money on us....you don't even know the half of it you dumb f***

  • you do realize that it's hard to sound sarcastic when typing. Of course the gov't didn't spend much helping people. Look at what it still looks like there. Another good example is the new buildings they put where the world trade centers were. Oh wait... there's still nothing built there... oops, sry guys

  • you r sooooo STUPID!! you dont even know the half of it!!! look at new orleans east!! there is STILL nothing happening there!1!!!!!! you r 1 stupid mother fucker!!!!!

  • wtf?!?! You are obviously the stupid mother fucker here. I said there is fuck-all there now and it's not like your government is going to help you. Next time, read the fuckin' comments you dumb fuck!

  • im not talking to you u dumb fuck!!!

  • u got talent kid. God Bless

  • Hi mhoman: I came down w/a group of volunteers in March and worked gutting houses etc... for a week. Hope to come down again.

  • Great video, touched my heart. I drove through NO and up the Gulf Coast a little less than 2 months before it hit. Great job!

  • this is my teacher's daughter!

  • As a former New Orleanian now living in Las Vegas, I've watched your videos with great interest. Whne folks ask me why I want to return one day, I tell them that I don't know if I could explain it so that they'd understand. Now, I just refer them to films like yours, as it tells that story better than I think that I could.

GREAT music selections, by the way. Very nice job.

  • I have always had an affinty for New Orleans...and wanted to move there...I helped raise money to help you all when your tragedy hit...and watchin this video...made me love New Orleans even more! Peace to you all!

    <3
