Its a shame if the Germans couldn't produce this car then the Chinese wouldn't pick up on it and mass produce it themselves. I want one so step up and make this happen Fossil fuels will be around for another 50 plus years!
the most trouble free car i ever owned cost me 20 dollars . it was a 1975 plymouth duster in line six (225) the only thing i put on it was a ball joint and a air filter
I wish Bill Ford was watching this . this is automotive future. the usa will get on ship early ,or pay the price dearly. i think if it has two big freash air dumps like my 57 ford i wouldnt want ac. could a tail fin ridge strenthen the rearcollision area? Dave

German quality and efficiency?: I have heard of Geman quality and efficiency, is that why Mercedes and BMW are two of the most troublesome cars, that never make the the JD Powers list? When you mention quality only Lexus comes to mind, nothing german.
Question, can it climb a hill with four onboard? What about NVH? Will it have airconditioning that is adequate, as that is quite a greenhouse? Can it take city streets like NY with its pot-holes? Fuel economy is nice but there are many other factors to consider.
I hope they get this baby to the production line!! It's among the most brilliant moves in automotive engeneering in the last few years :D Outstanding fuel economy, really fast (on the GT version), gorgeous and cheap!!! What more can you ask for???
It's amazing. 4 seats, awesome look, and 157 miles per gallon!! That's over twice as fuel efficient as a Smart Fortwo! There will also be a "GT" version that gets up to 225 kph, but still gets 88 mpg.

Well, coming up on 2012 and still not available in the US. I'm not surprised by that, but I sure would love to have one.

Wär ein geiler Alltagswagen. Würde die Kosten drastisch senken, dann könnte ich meinen % Liter V8 nur noch zum Spaß fahren. ^^

yes ist can! thats what makes this concept great
Arudoloff 4 years ago
Apparently it can. It has a top speed of 160km/h and acceleration of 0-100km/h of 19 seconds in one version and 9 seconds in another.

9 seconds is very good.
