QWEST FUCKING SUCKS ASS

Now, you dont need a telephone hooked up, or to pay it, just the telephone line for qwest or century link.... although, they will charge you for hooking it up if the wind blows it down , they lie and wont maintain their lines outside the home.

the speed of their internet is very poor quality on century link, and the speed wont allow media streaming for youtube or even gaming on x box...its of poor quality, go find another system... comcast is the monopoly , but i heard digis is moving in.

I live in Ogden Utah, had Century Link for approx two weeks, got my first bill of 69 dollars, at first the speed was fine, all my speed test, are way under what they are advertising and misrepresenting at Century Link aka Qwest. Im supposed to get 1 mb minimum, im getting less than half of that, youtube wont load, and takes too long to download or upload, like .22 if that . its the craps.

their customer service sucks even worse, they talk past their customers, dont listen either.

Ratings & false advertisement of Qwest Now Century Link;

1. Called for service, the girl said, it was 19 dollars a month. i asked any hook up fees or install charges, she said no as long as there was no wire hook up inside the home.

There wasnt any just a wire from telephone to outside blown down from wind.

I got my first month bill it was 69 dollars for install charges.

When i was told no charges. i called back and another girl said , " oh , think of it like an activation fee ! "

@Wessyification yea... i shuold be getting 375kb they say 80% of that atleast.. I get 50kb.. constant rate drops lower aswell.. BUT they say everythings fine, nothing is wrong

Hey just a comment, after the promotional period my comcast got excrutiatingly slow and my friends qwest service although it's of a lesser mbps downloads stuff faster than my 8 mbps internet. Just saying

Qwest has no cap and i am currently on Qwests 40m speed for $29.99 a month! I know thats better than comcast!

One inaccuracy - you no longer need phone service to use Qwest DSL. Also, cost considerations and needs. For basic Internet connectivity for those who don't need a lot of bandwidth - it's possible to get DSL plans for under $20 / month.
