  • if you call it top 10 fastest animals then all top 10 must be birds. slowest bird flies faster than gazelle and lions

  • just assumed the cheetah was the fastest animal in the world, but i suppose fastest land animal huh? shucks cant believe how fast a falcon can fly.... awesome

  • @suzypuzy12 it can only travel so fast as it uses gravity to aid it when it dives

  • @batz45

Still, having the adaption of controlling yourself and reacting while falling at 200+ MPH is freaking amazing.

  • Comment removed

  • When it comes to the fastest fish, the image of sailfish is used three times for marlin, swordfish and sailfish.

  • Animals* and I'm only in 5th grade so ya

  • Btw the first one should of been cheetah cos it runs 70 miles per hour and I know a lot about anima

  • cool

  • Wow...this was the most inaccurate video I've ever seen. This guy DOES realize that gazelles are the 2nd fastest land animals. They're way faster than lions and let alone, wildebeests. And birds, well, they use gravity. This is the most inaccurate video on YouTube.

  • ......

  • peregrine falcon... poker face :|

  • @roobbbyyyy123 Hahahahaha you're right

  • yea the swift.. its in the name swift(nes)

  • This is rubbish... a greyhound is the 2nd fastest land animal in the world. A racing peigon can do 60-65mph and its not in here too.

  • Where am i? I should be on there?

  • i agree with ATLKing132.

  • lol some of those pictures of marlin or swordfish were actualy sailfish and where is the mako shark the fastest a mako has gone is 68mph

  • squeeze the greyhound in there.... it runs 45mph and its a dog!

  • if you should take them ten fastest animals in the world would it be to be birds.

  • Where Chuck Norris???

  • I was watching a documentary (Great Migration 2010) And on there is stated the Pronghorn was the fastest land animal of the new world 60mph!

  • like

  • the peregrine falcon isn't as fast as you think...it's just using gravity to free fall and speed up...take this for example, if i was on a plane and used a big slingshot to thorw my self to earth i'll eventually hit 242 mph

  • @MakiD2010 Actually you probably wouldn't. Humans have a free fall speed of 180, yes you could technically get yourself to go that fast but what the falcon does is incredible considering the incredible physics involved in go past ones free fall speed.

  • @babbfamilyidaho so,,humans have a freefall speed diffent than other animals free fall,,,LOL....take out resistance and EVERYTHING FALLS AT 32 FEET PER SEC SQUARED.....READ A BOOK.

  • im pretty sure cheetahs cant run 72mph. thats too fast

  • @RdonZOME 70 to 75 lol....they fast as shit

  • @RdonZOME actually cheetahs reach speeds of 75mph.

  • What is the name of the song

  • That's not flying. That's falling with style.

  • Husain can only do 40 km/h. Cheetah has BMW M3 twin turbocharged engine and Husain has 1.7liter Vauxhall Astra diesel engine, to be exact

  • is that true ? that falcon over 200km/H?

cant believe how fast the falcon punch lol

  • the falcons kinda dont deserve to be on the list they both use gravity. I mean a person skydiving can reach speeds of 100 mph just because of gravity I feel only animals using their own bodies to generate energy to move.

  • @bltsandwich567

All animals uses gravity. If it wasn't for gravity, the cheetah would not be able to run, as soon as his feet lift off the ground he would float. So gravity is part of the equation for moving. Not to mention birds had to take to the sky by their own effort and no other birds can dive at the speed falcon can.

  • @fodoon true, but other animals do more work to achieve their speed using more energy to create their motion (using some sort of limb or muscle), the falcon just reduces it cross-sectional area and leaves the rest to gravity basically a free-fall just

    Velocity = 9.18*mass-(Cd)

  • Cheetahs are the fastest predator-land animals and they even catch birds?

  • Tigers are way stronger than lions.

  • The falcon only goes that fast when gravity works with it and aerodynamics and shit, all the resy gravity works against them.

  • The commenter on the Westminster Dog Show the other night said that the Greyhound was the second fastest land animal behind the Cheetah. Don't know if that's true or not but something

    else to think about.

  • nice collections

  • swift even looks swift

  • WHERES SONIC? HE PWNS THEM ALL!

  • bullshit... lions should not even be in this list

  • @xbots27 if you were being chast by a lion you would die ok

  • 10 points to cheetah all the way

  • peregrine is fast because of gravity. it flies fastest when going downwards

  • i don't believe

  • shut up! they r just discussing animals. n 2ndly i felt pity aba ma cheetah :-(

  • i don't know about you....but i wanna see a peregrine falcon race a bugatti veyron...

  • @oPerfection7 peregrine falcon vs bugatti got to be good! :) but i like the falcon better cause it could fly :) but thats my opinion :)

  • Like the vid ..........

  • @TopAnimals567 You're obviously a failed nerd.G-force is the acceleration of a body/mass in relative to gravitational pull.If by example,if I were to accelerate at 29.4 Ft./s I just did 3 G's.Also, humans at the the absolute are known to withstand 15.g.(check History Channel:Desert Storm Dogfights).

  • @lrcdert2010 I got this information from a website.

Acceleration and de-acceleration are expressed in terms of "G", with 1-G describing the effects of gravity we experience under normal conditions while at rest on the surface of the Earth. Therefore, when accelerating to 2-G you would feel the force of gravity doubled. As G-forces increase due to acceleration, you begin to feel heavier and experience difficulty in moving your arms and legs.

  • @lrcdert2010 (continued) and are not able to lift your head to look around. At 5-G’s, your ten pound head would weight 50 pounds, a load that your neck muscles are not accustomed to handling.

There are other effects of increasing G-forces as well. Blood circulation becomes impaired as the heart must work harder to pump blood through the body. This impaired circulation can lead to a dimming of consciousness as the heart can no longer pump blood to the brain.

  • @lrcdert2010 (continued part 3)

You will start to experience tunnel vision, then colors will fade away and everything will appear white, then fade to black. You have just experienced a gravity induced loss of consciousness, or blackout. In general, anything more than 4 or 5 G’s will cause the average person who has not been trained to deal with these effects to black out.

  • @lrcdert2010 (continued part 4) Extremely high G-levels can lead to more serious complications such as compacted bladders, bursting red blood cells, subdural hematomas, the inability to breathe and the cessation of circulation.

  • Humans are faster nuff said.25,000 M.P.H. In a space shuttle is greater than a Falcon at 202 M.P.H.

  • weres praying mantis they strike at 800 mph

  • @lakostal You can only go 200mph if you have a skydiving suit you idiot. You would faint possibly die.

  • peregrine falcon can only go up to 202 mph... im sure the peregrine falcon can reach 0-200 faster than the $2,000,000 super sport! lols!

  • THE CHEETAH IS FASTEST LAND ANIMAL ON EARTH

  • CHEETAHS CAN RUN 75 TO 80 MPH FOR 5 MIN.AT THEIR TOP SPEED

  • @lakostal Thats on land isn't it I'm talking about in the air.

  • u didnt even put the fastest land animal in oh u wana no wat it is a deer read a book

  • Lions don't run 50mph there top speed is only 30-35 mph.

  • (ok this may seem rude, but im just trying to make as much of a joke as possible, also please reply)

WHY YOU NO PUT HORSEY INSIDE FAST ANIMAL VIDEO!? (they can run 70 kph (not sure what is kph) per hour!)

  • Comment removed

  • thats fuckin gay. it only goes that fast because it falls from like 1000 feet and gravity speeds it up. cheetah should have been the winner. I could fall of a plane and go 200 plus mph does that make me the fastest animal?? no u dumbass change it so cheetah is number one

  • how about a list of top 10 annoying video soundtracks? PUT THIS AT #1

  • Cool list, but.. If you are going to include birds, I would think the ten fastest on this list would all be birds. Five birds can fly level at greater than 72 mph. And in a dive many can exceed 100 mph. google: "the world's fastest birds" . I had no idea those fish could swim so fast, though! Very interesting.

  • great

  • Great video!

  • Where usain bolt?!

  • @rusydi007 ITS ABOUT FASTEST ANIMALS NOT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!

  • But the falcon is beast

  • Cheetahs are the fastest land animal

  • Regardless of how fast a peregrine falcon flies it still reaches speeds over 200mph it uses that speed to survive when it is on the hunt. It's as fair as the fish swimming in water compared to land animals they have water surrounding them causing more friction. Cheetahs are not the fastest animal u may be thinking of fastest mammal

  • @TJthepianoplayer Well, fishes have scales and are very ''aerudynamic'' so it doesn't matter very much for them

  • NUmber 1 isn't true! It's just if he falls down, but if he just flys he can't reach 187.2 Km/Hour!

  • you got the facts wrong! a fish is not a animal! sorry

  • hayabusa

  • FUCK NO! MAN!

Cheetahs are the fastest animals on Earth!

  • @dickran2142battle @dickran2142battle fuck yeah!!! you're SOOOOOOO RIGHT MAN!!! WE LOVE CHEETAH'S THEY ARE JUST AWESOME!!!!

  • @deheletijd DONT TELL THAT TO ME TELL THAT TO THE OWNER OF THE VID,BIRDS USE GRAVITY FOR SPEED WHILE CHEETAHS DONT.

  • da hell is dis 9no disrespect) but i agree with lakostal, birds use gravity to their advantage to gain speeds, and use wind speed, and many other things, i say cheetah wins this,

also fish don't run on the ground they're streamlined so they can glide through water that's what allows them to swim at great speeds,

  • @death9lord you guys are really right like I said before to lakostal! When you just look to the REAL performance the cheetah certainly wins this challenge!

  • @deheletijd like I said to MANY others now, the swift only reaches a speed of 55 km/hour and the perigrine falcon only reaches a speed of 60 km/hour...!

  • What about quarter horses the reach speeds unto 58 km

  • Is a swift a real animal? Thought it was a pokemon move.

  • a gazzele is supposed to run faster than tiger and wildebeest right?and when it comes to bird peregrine falcon is only faster when it fly downwards like a jet

  • @yoo7006 you'ra right CHEETAH'S RULE!!!!!

  • @deheletijd I forget to tell you guys the speed he really reaches... Now here it is!!!: 55 km/hour...!

  • @deheletijd yeah!!!cheetahs all the way!

  • What about the golden eagle? They are fast the go 100 mph and when they dive they go 200 mph

  • Pike also can reach 100km/h with better accelerating than any1 on this list....

  • imagine all these animals racing each other

  • Wow good information thanks

  • @shebaloso really sweetiedove? If it weren't for fusion that the sun gives out there would be no life anyway. So gravity is moot. FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how about a blue whale?

  • lol

  • @hornetpalooza You can't really compare fish to a land animal cause they are both ''customised'' to land/water

  • u forgot about sloth 1) 299087 mph

  • what is the name of the music! someone reply please!

  • BTW just did some research.... ehmm... Record speed of a human skydiving (without any special equipment) is 321 MPH. And the fastest ever was Joseph Kittinger who dove out of a balloon and reached speeds of 614 MPH. So actually a human is at the top of this list.

  • @Fubikon really, sweetie? u r saying that just because the gravity helps the bird to reach 350 kph, the peregrine falcon doesn't deserve to be at the top of that list? i guess u forgot that fact that the gravity also helps the gazelle, the lion, the gnu, the antlelope, the cheetah, and, of course, usain bolt to reach their respective maximum speeds...

  • A diving bird? geeshe. I thought this was a real list. If i pooped out of a air plane it would be fast as shit! If i put aerodynamics on my poop I could get it going faster than some dumb bird.

  • oh yesh

  • Peregrine Falcon only reaches that speed when diving, if gravity is allowed to help, I bet a cheetah would be a bit faster than 72 MPH if you push it off a cliff..

  • @kaller8 The Peregrine Falcon is made to go that fast diving, there is no animal that can go that fast. If you push a cheetah or any other animal off a cliff it wont reach that speed.

  • What happened to Man? 36,360 mph in a space ship.

  • @ItsAllJustMovement IN A SPACE SHIP!!!!!!!! man can not run that fast, man can not fly that fast so they are not in the top ten fastest!!!!!!

  • what about the Golden Eagle!

  • @alidubya I think greyhounds only get to 40 mph. I think this vid should stick to level, powered motion, not diving, because otherwise all top ten would be birds (look up merlin, sometimes called"rocket birds," or any other falcon or even eagles). I've seen a bald eagle and a goshawk in dives that had to be way over 100 mph, though the bald eagle is not known for that. Myself, I've done about 160 mph in a track while skydiving. Shouldn't I be second on this vid?

  • Comment removed

  • Merlin, sword fish, and sail fish are the SAME thing

  • a cheada is the fastest amanel inthe world

  • I would like to make a point here. Peregrine falcons can only reach that speed in a dive. It is not a speed the falcon can hold during casual flight. Same for swifts. The highest they've been known to reach casually is about 70mph. Cheetahs are still the fastest animals if you factor in acceleration and consistency of speed.

  • wats the differnce between a merlin and a swordfish

  • Its unfair to have birds in this list, they use gravity.. its like throwing a human out of a flightplane and say he is the fastest thing on earth cause he falls at 250kmh

  • Not necessarily. This video is accurate in that the swift (number 2) can fly in a straight line at 106 mph. So it's not using gravity to do that. But the peregrine falcon does, and in a straight line it can only fly about 62 mph, so really the number 1 should be the swift, and the falcon should be like number 5.

  • @MegaWatermelon23 you're wrong the swift doesn't fly with a speed of 106 mp/h. My neighbour is prof birds and he proves my answer, we found out with a test I saw it with my own eyes dude!!!

  • @lakostal you're totally right I still think the cheetah is the fastest animal if you look to performance, these bird only fly: 2. place: 55 km/hour, 1. place: 60 km/ hour when they are "really flying" (using there wings only, NOT on an free fall). So the cheetah actually is the fastest animal on earth when you look to the REAL performance!!!!

  • @lakostal the record for a the peregrine falcon is 270 mph

they have areodynamics features that help them a human does not have those dynamics making drag, the peregrine is the fastest naturally, try throwing a cheetah out of a plane lets see if it can hit 270 most cars can't go that fast.

  • @lakostal true!

    ._.

  • @lakostal it's not unfair at all, that's how birds travel. if the bird was sat on a jet plane going at 400 mph+ then it would be unfair. All these animals reach speeds nature allows them to, it's an entirely fair list.

  • @11thhourreprieve If i jump from a mountain then? I will surely go 200mph and will be faster than a cheetah cause that's nature.

  • @lakostal No! Again, you're just being silly.

  • @lakostal no you won't go 200mph because you'll die staight away because the gs (GeForce) would be too high you. Humans die in 3-4 gs but a peregrine falcon reaches 20-30 gs. It has eyelids which are designed for speed, wings which help it to fly faster, a streamlined body even tears which don't dry out when it goes in a stoop (dive). The peregrine falcon deserves to be the fastest animal in the world.

  • @TopAnimals567 What? You can go 200mph without a problem you idiot, g-force (not GeForce you nerd), explain to me how a human can go over 260mph in a car then

  • @lakostal But you do not survive after go at 250 km/h! birds do.

  • Music name?

  • @MegaJUVAS i wondered the same

  • The gazelle @ #10 should be faster that the lion for sure!

  • fuel efficiency?

  • what about a humming bird

  • like this if you looked up peregrine falcon videos after watching this

  • @adj0992 the perigrine falcon reaches only that speed when he is on his free fall, that isn't fair, Like this: if you trow a cheetah out of a plane (sort of what lakostal said) he reaches a speed of 200 km/hour!

  • @adj0992 I had no Ided that the falcon (which i saw on stuart little 2) was that fast. 242mph? Whoa!!!!!

  • I think golden eagles can dive at around 200km/h.

  • @CottenSheets This is of course diving at prey. It can't actually fly at that speed.

  • wow awsome video!!

  • Aren't ostriches and horses pretty fast?

  • tigers are faster than lions but whatever

  • 21 snails made a YouTube account to dislike this video o.O

  • @DatKiidCris In addition to a few turtles...

  • @SparkSpiritBlue hahaha that 2, you just made my day :)

  • @DatKiidCris ha ha I always enjoy reading your who disliked this video comment

  • u put like 3 kinds of sword fish lol

  • lol where is road runner

  • A falcons terminal velocity is only 200 mph and it can't go any faster

  • @ stanOfGB

242mph or 390 kph is correct. In this instance it's actually Wikipedia that's wrong. 

  • What about a Hyena?

  • Came in expecting perigrine falcon at number one. Leaving not disappointed.

  • next time put warthog there faster

  • Falcon Baby!!

  • damn you youtube ...the swift is the faster animal (bird)under it's own power at 106 mph max recorded speed and their are only 3 or 4 other birds above 70 mph under their own power although high altitude migrating birds have been known to whiz along with 200 to 300 mph winds the Peregrine does not even rate in the top 10 under it's own power but is a great diver .

  • I would love to breed the Peregrine only once have I seen one in action it's just amazing how they do a fly by go straight up and come down on their prey with devastating impact , this kill I witness was within 30 feet the smacking sound was loud and the victim robin accelerated tumbling through the air across the street disappearing between two houses where it came to it's horrible fate all other birds in the area were panicing that's how I knew what was going on then came the fly by and dive.

  • The peregrine falcon only goes that speed during a dive when it spots a prey. It's cheating by using gravity.

  • How can a falcon be faster than a cheetah? Their the fastest animals on earth, and everyone knows that...

  • @pinkdragon250 very true but there are birds that literally fly qiuicker then 72 mph under their own power or level flight ax recorded spine tailed swift 106 mph, frigate bird 95 mph , spur-winged goose 88mph and the redbreasted merganser 80 mph all other birds are contravercial because riding the wind and gliding is possible even with the birds above . The Pergrine does not even hit the top ten and migrating birds which ride high atitude jet streams have been known to travel 200 to 300 mph .

  • @bobboberan ooh... you seem to know alot abot animals. thnx for the info!

  • cheetah is the fastes

  • Btw Wiki says 202 mph not 242...typo in the video i guess

  • A 242 mph bird? Is it sitting in a McLaren F1?

  • Im really Proud of what you have found out

  • Really interesting

  • thanks for the info

  • 387km/h holy fuck balls
