Eagles aren't supposed to be able to kill foxes. That's why their natural prey are rabbits, rodents, etc. The fact that the eagle went for the fox shows its training.

@connorherrold Golden Eagles are know to eat foxes, small deer and anything in that area. They also eat honey badger in southern africa...and the ocasional bear in the northern hemisphere. Also a golden eagle does not simply train on small fry such as these...they train on helicopters.

Not true. Foxes are a part of the Golden eagle's natural prey, albeit not the easiest of prey. Wild eagles do occasionally hunt red fox. Plenty of sources online, including wikipedia, will attest to that. Wolves however, which the Kazakhs hunt, requires a trained eagle.
