These"Familymembers"who feel they have been appointed by GOD to"Rule the world" or "America" are no different than muslim fanatics.They need to be treated as such and definitely removed from office. In my opinion, there should be term limits on ALL seats in office, with only so many years in Govt service allowed,that way polticians dont have as a big of a chance to make long term special-interest connctions and be forced to live 1sthand w/ the decisions they made.Politician shouldnt be a career.

Using anti-abortion to abort health care reform makes poor people's death more insignificant and unavoidable. What can you argue? Money is money and we are in debt right? People, your psychologies are calculated unless you can make the issue more open ended so you have more variances of understanding between abortion and murder and don't be scared by the word death first.

Ironically. a fairly remarkable number of congressman who have been involved in scandal are associated with C street - Ensign, Sanford and Pickering all involved in sex scandal. Ashcroft, Mcfarlene, Colson, were involved in numerous controversies and resigned, Iran-contra conspiracy and watergate respectively. So clearly upstanding gentlemen and Im sure there are plenty more.

The president of this so called innocent religious group has seen fit to bring up Hitler in his speeches. As evil or the antichrist? No, as a metaphor for commitment to a cause. How utterly appalling of him and this is the guy our leadership is listening to? Someone who sees hitler as a good example of commitment over lets say, Gandhi or Mandela or MLK? Apparently so. They also consider it essential to be shrouded in secrecy - a bit disconcerting.

I love that members of our democratic congress are in religious cults and seeking to turn the US into a christian theocracy over an actual democracy Im sure the constitution is very proud of their blatant slap in the face to the founding fathers. Of the people, for the people and by the people is what our government is about - not passing legislation based on some bible misinterpretations. No matter what religious fanatics say, we all know jesus was against poverty and inequality and greed.
