I see your point, but that's an issue of parenting. Regulation of marijuana will at least insure that adults aren't buying off the black market. That way, people know what they're getting if they're familiar with the source. In some cases, that might be the local liquor store or what have you. It's a large step up from buying off the streets. It's safer.

Correction....Marijuana is not a chemical medicine that has ingredients in it which are not only impossible to pronounce, but they are full of chemicals. Which have no long term health side effects.

Actually, if his kid had of stayed on marijuana instead of switching to whatever drug he ODed on, he would most likely still be alive today. Also, his group that he formed specifically says its against drug dealers. Well, it's the government's fault that marijuana CAN be a gateway drug, since it's in the same schedule(1) as LSD and Heroin, 2 drugs with much more adverse effects. If you took mary jane out of Schedule 1(and made it legal), the kids would be less inclined to try the other drugs in the same schedule, since they'd think they're just as harmless.

I see your point, but that's an issue of parenting. Regulation of marijuana will at least insure that adults aren't buying off the black market. That way, people know what they're getting if they're familiar with the source. In some cases, that might be the local liquor store or what have you. It's a large step up from buying off the streets. Correction....Marijuana is not a chemical medicine that has ingredients in it which are not only impossible to pronounce, but they are full of chemicals. Which have no long term health side effects.
I started off using marijuana socially and after i realized it was helping my inflammation in my both wrists and my back, i see NO reason to continue using my anti-inflammatory "Medicine" which leaves me feeling nautious, numb, tired and results in me being less productive.

If this bill does pass it needs to pass before 4/20 for full effect because on 4/20 consumption goes up nearly 1000% on that single day! Think of it, if you do pot you understand the average sale is between 1 - 3 grams. On 4/20 however, the average sale is 1 - 2 ounces. Oh and the fat dude needs to get fucked; he lost a kid, but blaming it on pot and not his shitty parenting is even worse parenting. The only difference between someone using any substance at all and not is where they came from...
