I am a hardcore gamer and I honestly liked FEAR 2 a lot more than the first one!

It was just better made

I mean in FEAR you dont find a lot of variety for the escenarios they were all pretty much the sam the graphics were a lot worst (not that important, just saying) and the IA was worst

FEAR 2 had great graphics (just saying) the IA was better the weapons...well...I admit that they are generic more variety of escenarios and situations

Also I like more the terror from FEAR 2

@LD1E60 Every thing about your post makes me want to kill myself. First off, the ai sucks in the first fear? Are you fucking kidding? The AI in fear 1 is by far one of the most intelligent enemy AI's in any fps. FEAR 2 had standard graphics, standard enemies, standard guns, NOTHING stood out about it in any way what so ever. It was another shooter. Oh joy. Terror from fear 2? FEAR 2 WAS NOT SCARY! Things jump out at you OH NO! Fear 1's horror was by far better.

@RedDragonAirsoft I think F.E.A.R. reached it's apex in ways to scare you. infact F.E.A.R. is the reason games (except for dead island) don't scare me anymore, I have changed from scared to Fight or flight- Adrenaline- kill anything supernatural. And F.E.A.R. 2 the same scares, really didn't change much. maybe the environments were slightly creepy, but thats it. Didn't leave much for Day 1 to work with, and they nailed it.

I think this video needs to load, but people say the first FEAR was scarier but I didn't jump once playing through that game and was actually making myself play the game because it was very hard to interest me. People are also mentioning FEAR Files being scary but I heard that they're a bigger let down than FEAR 2. I'm guessing the video loaded so I'm going to reply to a comment and then watch :)

I completely agree with you 100% Dude. F.E.A.R 2 was so disappointing. Dude you said fast paced. F.E.A.R 1 was fast paced. You could melee, slide kick and roundhouse kick much faster than f.e.a.r 1 that goes for multiplayer. The AI? WB games. Shame on you I Disagree. They may flip tables, move bookcases, stuff like that. But if you realize, the the things that you can flip do not provide much cover. F.E.A.R 1 is the best and F.E.A.R files. F.E.A.r 3. WHY IS THERE COOP. IT DOESNT MAKE IT SCARY!!

@dathip You ma'am, are a complete idiot. Why is there co-op? Because some people can't play games by themselves but it doesn't mean you have to play it co-op does it? Nope, so play it by yourself, like me and if you feel like you want to play it co-op with someone afterwards, then be my guest. I don't really like co-op too much anyway, but then at the same time, I do, it all depends on the game, DR 2 seems to be kind of annoying with co-op =/ Halo's good with it Gears is GREAT with co-op :)

Splinter Cell Conviction is the only other game with AI that don't know where you are constantly. But I rented FEAR 2 recently and the game just felt like a retarded Halo And the only part that I didn't like (closest to "horror") were the assassins which I called Demons because they are fucking Demons lol but FEAR 1 made me shit my pants FEAR 1 > FEAR 2
