@schmitty422 first, there were no hundreds of millions of dead, that is bourgeois propaganda to deter the world from socialism.

second, the people starved in the USSR and China mainly because of the natural dissasters and lack of developement...which was normal considering both started their way to socialism as backward countries that had starvations long before the communists took over.

after a while, both USSR and China started producing almost everything en masse.

In Russia, they didn't know Stalin knew about there sufferings, but after he died and they found out he caused them they destroyed all of his statues, and in North Korea there are millions dead because the government is extremely harsh and any lack of support will land you and your family in a prison camp for the rest of your life, and the thing is a lot of North Koreans don't know about it yet, and you know that red cross offered food to Korea and Kim Jong Il said no

@supermariobubba My grandpa'ss family were Catholics and my grandma's family were Christians. They lived in NorthEast China and were fine to practice their religion. In fact, one of my Grandma's sisters was a pastor in the local church. My grandma's dad was questioned during the Cultural Revolution, but that's because he's a doctor, not because he's a Christian.... As much as I'm aware of, the muslim populations in the West were also left alone. Conflict with them were not due to their religion.
