Ppl always say dorinda is an alto, but if you look at when she first started singing and how she sings now in 2010 she is getting up there with karen. So to me Dorinda Clark Cole is a true Mezzo Soprano. only reason you dnt see dat is cuz she preach alot and it puts a weigh on yo vocal chords. But TRUST she still kan hit dem HIGH!!!!!!!

@crazyboy1234able but the tessitura of a true mezzo can sustain higher notes, not as high as soprano, but higher notes frequently. her technique is not that of a true mezzo, but she is a wonderful none the less. i have loved her for years. she has always been my favorite. she sounds the most like mattie to me!!!
