I love the full arrangement of sound, such highs and lows. They bring something new to the stage everytime they play. Who cares what they wear or how hard they play. They have great hearing and talent to entertain. They are more creative than your average rock band
this might be my fave QOTSA song...not used to it being this fast paced though...I like some of the other live versions I've heard better. But it is still QOTSA so it's still good :)

Actually it is "Song for the Dead". Their both on the same album, but the one their preforming is in fact song for the dead. Maybe you should think before calling someone an idiot next time.
Personally, I feel that part of what makes QOTSA so great is the great variety in drum tracks. Grohl was different, and Castillo is different. While I PERSONALLY prefer Grohl, I think Castillo has done a great job laying down drum tracks that feel about as fresh as Grohl's, while they aren't as original, at least they aren't standard rock beats. Both drummers are great.

Very few drummers can pull off this song like Dave Grohl and I think Joey comes damn near close.
Although the toms aren't really tuned right for this song.

Actually it is "Song for the Dead". Their both on the same album, but the one their preforming is in fact song for the dead. Maybe you should think before calling someone an idiot next time.

Personally, I feel that part of what makes QOTSA so great is the great variety in drum tracks. Grohl was different, and Castillo is different. While I PERSONALLY prefer Grohl, I think Castillo has done a great job laying down drum tracks that feel about as fresh as Grohl's, while they aren't as original, at least they aren't standard rock beats. Both drummers are great.

I have to agree with this, Dave Grohl is a brilliant drummer, granted, but Joey Castillo is immense and people that say "Oh Dave's better" are just kissing ass on his part. Joey nails this song and is a fantastic drummer.

joeys well out at the start. the nerves get to him and he rushes it. that fill at 1.57 is awfull, puts off the whole band. and you dont see the end part but i can guarantee that couldn't have gone well. I think he's good but josh could have at least got someone who can play grohls stuff!

I'd say Joey is almost as capable as Dave, it's just that his own style is somewhat more laid back.... and what the fuck? It's not truly QotSA unless Josh is singing? They're a super band, it's the tradition!
