what size motor is in this Capri, I don't recognize it , it looks like a 3.8 liter but I didn't think they put any 90 deg. motors in Capris. I have a 2600 60 deg motor in my road car and a 2 liter in my racecar
It is the 2.8 liter cologne motor. I think it is out of the Granada 2.8 or Capri 2,8i. It is the usual 60 deg. motor with lower compression, a big turbo (may turbo kit, with boost controller) and around 300Hp (Din).
1:23 judging by how he ovbertakes the Golf, you understand that this car has been crashed a couple of times. I hope he learns to drive safe before crashing such a great car once more.
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

:( Sehr schade!

3.0 liter engines were English. This is a 2.8 liter from Belgium. The RS engines were fuel injected normally.

I have in my garage a 1970 ford capri 1600gt xlr and I will NEVER sell her!
All original and it starts in minus 30 celcius.
Beat that with your new soap shaped cars jammed with electronics!

@t16205 I was going to give you 185 million for it but you said you will never sell it so the deal's off.
