  • Even easier than nitro are drivechain sprocket ratios. Down some teeth in front, up some in the back. Unless you're married to the 250 through seat height restrictions or a cc displacement limit, I'd suggest just upgrading to a bigger bike if the sprockets don't suit you. Nitro is awfully hard on your engine, and can cause numerous problems if not done right, or used inappropriately.

  • the 250 only tops out around 90-100...... gearing it up would start to drop your top speed....i'de suggest keeping the bike until your comfortable riding and then sell it or trade it in for a bigger bike. if your already looking for more power and its an 09, you may have gotten the wrong bike in the first place.

  • plank. have a look at a few dyno runs. the rear usually lifts as the geometry works against the power. try learning what you're on about before slagging a real comment.

  • i'm with camo on that one. it should squat due the torque, like the same as when the bike does a power wheelie. The suspension is compressed down, when it runs out of travel it pops the front up. In this case it was obviously tied down. So it looks like you're the plank...

  • As far as Geometry goes, it has to be calculated and then worked into the design of the bike. As soon as the bike is not stock anymore, geometry gets messed-up especially with such an addition of HP and TQ.

  • its not hp and tq. its HP. energy is hp, not tq. man that shit gets me irritated. EVERY where you go, people ramble on about the crap when a simple math class after triangles and octagons you could understand how that makes NO sense. sorry to bitch, its just one of my major pet peeves i started ME 4 years ago.
