  • @13jam100 I would like to see you do better. You are probably a fan of dubstep or some new crap like that and just don't understand what a guitar is and wonder where all of the buttons to autotune the sounds are.

  • @13jam100

  • Always loved the synth (at least I think it's a synth) that comes in at 2:53

  • @iamnatman that little quick part? thats just a guitar

  • The guy Walsh is singing about in this song would be better off put out of his misery. An overdose of sleeping pills, or possibly carbon monoxide poisoning, as I hear he is a coward when it comes to painful suicides. :/

  • I heard this on the radio today, really good

  • Did anyone notice that this song is the exact opposite song as Ordinary Average Guy? LOL! Which is it Joe? Has life been good, or are you an Ordinary Average Guy? Nothing average about that guitar genius! :))

  • @curvy71 i hear this all the time, but i live near detroit

  • @TheDunderMuffin whats that gotta do with me wishing that this kind of music was on the radio.

  • @curvy71 it is on the radio usually the classic rock station they play this track quite a bit up here in northern Michigan

  • @TheDunderMuffin i live in Ky there's not too many classic stations here.

  • @curvy71 i live in ky also. you arent lying with that statement. lol

  • @mgtcp10 yeah it sucks don't it.

  • @curvy71 I learn to switch the radio station that actually play music like this. Its called a classic rock station. I heard you can call them for request.

  • @J5MARLON there's no classic rock stations around here where i'm at.

  • @curvy71 Fuck that, i heard this song on the radio not 15 minutes ago.

  • @curvy71 I just heard this song on the radio about 10 minutes ago :P

  • @MrJuliorMedina oh ok

  • @curvy71 I live in Colorado and we have a radio station dedicated to strictly classic rock. It's by far the most amazing thing.

  • @ikicklotsoffass great

  • @ikicklotsoffass Whats the station?

  • @curvy71 i hear this everyday after school on the radio

  • @curvy71 Q104.3 -- They play classic rock!

  • @Vizcaloy i don't think i get that station.

  • @curvy71 95.7 is the station i listen to, barely plays this song. Still the best radio station in the south.

  • i like it better then the original

  • You know I always thought this was a steve miller song

they sound so much alike I tend to get there mixed up

  • the ultimate douchebag song!! love it, still though. lol.

  • so...does he like fortune & fame then? or not?

  • @jaddajn1 this song is a satire comedy about the life of a rockstar .

  • Who cares how many people don't like this song! That's their problem, not mine.

  • They intended to write country but people kept calling it rock,so they excepted it and got a fan base bigger than country, and they realized no matter what they did it still came out rock.Either way i'm pretty sure they are glad just to have hit it so big.

  • holy shit can i get this pic as a t-shirt???

  • POSTED TO MY BEST OF ROCK PLAYLIST

  • No, its not country. Its country inspired though. And these guys did tour the world seeing countryside throughout the planet. So some of that comes out also in the irony of lyrics and such.

  • @Mysterwright Actually, country music has tried to be more "rock-like", with this brand of rock somewhat of a target. Its more like, modern country music is "rock-inspired".

  • great song and well lifes always good when you listen to this

  • I have no job and no girl to kiss

but my life's been good since I listened to this

  • @StitchtheBitch1 man i have a shitty job but no girl friend but hey Life's been Good to me so Far!

  • @StitchtheBitch1

your life's been good but it aint been great,

take out the anger, and take out the hate

  • Life's been sucky for 7 people...But hey, if that's the case, just chill and keep reachin' and rockin' cause that's what it's all about :)

  • reminds me of The Arrow radio, before it stopped broadcasting D: this is one of those songs that I remember would sometimes be played in the morning, before uni ... memories! [loves how I'm only 21, btw!]

  • @loser00000000 Shut up this song rock now suck a d

  • I herd this song after the roast of charlie sheen and was cracking up

  • @Ratzo95 Quite. Except, 33 years after the release of this cautionary tale, few people, even Charlie Sheen, do these exact things. There are always brand new mistakes to make, though

  • is it possible to not like this song?

  • @loser000000000 I prefer the standard version to the studio version. Too much dead weight. I guess I could you call that "disliking."

  • #RockyMountainWay

  • Finding the floor isn't the problem- it's keeping it outta my face LOL

  • great era for music, All the true musicians

  • "It's hard to leave when you can't find the Door"...Luv this Lyric...Sometimes will switch it up with ,When you can't find the Floor..Been there...

  • I can see how someone who has never heard rock music produced before the 90's could think this is country. I can also see someone who has only heard country music produced after 2000 may think it's country.

This song has that standard late 70's sound that was heavily influenced by early rock & roll, R&B as well as country.

  • such a boss

  • i love his music and even when he was in the james gang i still love his music

  • definitely good ole rock n roll! :)

  • I love this song! Every time I drink I hear it!! So I downloaded it to my iPhone;)~

  • We took a holiday from England to Orlando. Driving around in our hire car we kept hearing this song. I went into a huge record shop in Orlando and asked for that song that has 'My Maserati does 185. I lost my licence now I dont drive'. The sales assistant had never heard of it. Unknowingly I picked up a DVD of the Eagles live tour. Imagine my surprise when this was on it!

  • How the hell are you not going to like this song! The lyrics and guitar beat is just way to good, " I can't complain, sometimes I still do " that line is everyone! Much respect to everyone that knows good music! RED INDIAN NATION

  • Ya'll are to concerned with putting a genre on this song that were forgetting how bad ass it would be to party with Joe Walsh

  • Well to be honest people are confused cuz all todays country really is is just 70s rock

  • @EdinburgMSify How exactly is this not country? Please explain.

  • @TheBPSEnsemble It has the beat like country but is done with electric guitar which is definitley not country. It is southern rock.

  • My Maserati does 185

I lost my license now I don't drive

  • i has country/rock/reggae influences but it is an american rock song

  • I love Joe Walsh. Straight up musician with monster talents.

  • how could this be country, it's fucking joe walsh lol. theres none like him

  • Def. not country, although I can can kind of see how people who haven'y heard American music before could mistake it.

  • its not like the beatles

  • its a slow rock and roll anyone with any sense of music would know almost like beatles

  • when i first heard this i thought it was bob marley

  • Besstie

  • Country? No this is Joe Walsh.

  • Country? Hell no this is classic

  • calling this country..... is just wrong!

  • @Kubie5789 While this is not a country song, I can understand why you would think that. The slide-guitar and main riff have a sort of country-feel to them. The Eagles in many ways branched the gap between country and classic rock, so you're not entirely off-base.

  • @ZAcKHINN Speaks the truth! :D

  • Вы глупо это не страна

  • It's a classic rock n roll song

    Not country

    dumbasses

  • Apparently we arent listening to the same song if you think its country
