Vittorio Prato is a great singer,but I'd like to hear more the Harp in the Basso Continuo like in the version directed by Harnoncourt...it's just a question of logic,Orfeo should be playing his Lyra to convince Caronte

If you can sing Orfeo, you can sing anything. It is considere the most difficult piece to sing in the 20th centry.

am I alone in finding the harp continuo overblown and intrusive? the singing is wonderful,as is the staging, and the rest of the band is poised and light but the harp seems to feel that if it isn't playing every half beat of every bar, it's missing out.... not elegant!
