Before I heard Dedede and others in the school episode of the Kirby anime thinking he said "Poyo", I thought he is saying something like "Fiya" or "Whya", but when I sat it to closed captioning, it said "*Kirby squeals*". Starfy is not a rip-off of Kirby.
It's just a coincidence. Japan likes simply cute characters. Starfy wasn't inspired by Kirby. And if you ever think Sunsoft's Gimmick! is a rip-off of Kirby, be sure to compare the release dates of Gimmick! and Kirby's Dream Land 1, so you will understand that Gimmick! came before the Kirby series was born.
I already have it. I got it two days after its release date. Comparing it to Kirby is like comparing Bad Dudes VS. DragonNinja to Double Dragon; they have similar styles, but different types gameplay.
well will u make a walkthrough of it soon o and the starfy game case is simaler to the kirby super star ultra game case lol because the show there faces on the cover
