@ramonvago The same song played on the same gear but different pickups so you can hear the difference the pickups make. none of this is about showing how good I am, just how different the pickups are.
hi! because of your video i also replaced my thunderbird´s pickups with ssb-4s. they are really great. thank you for your information. i also will put a video up on youtube and with your kind permission i would like it here as a videoanswer.
I'm interested in getting these PUs in my Schecter Diamond Deluxe-4 which uses Schecter PUs which doesn't sound that bad, but I'm looking for something that excels that and sounds excellent. Do you guys think that'd be a wise choice? I'm into playing 70s-80s hard rock and blues ATM, and I intend to add some prog rock and funk to it. I also use a Boss ME50B to customize the sound.
I would say yes if you have a 3 band EQ system with a blend pot. I currently have V-V-T-T, which works, but I am upgrading to the EQ system soon as my Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass with the EQ system just works so much better in sculpting the sound to my perfect taste!
the overdrive waz a bit to much dude.....you should go take a look at peter london from crashdiet .... he haz a great overdrive...work on the muting to...keep it up dude
I'm not entirely sure what that's supposed to mean....people played with picks back then too and wore their straps at a normal height, and were able to play properly.
Don't get me wrong, he's a good bassist, i just think that it looks stupid when people wear the bass that low. I play with my fingers and a pick, so it's not like I'm biased.
well why dont you try shuting your face...obv he wants to play like that...and u think u look kool with ur bass up to ur chin....hahaha thats funny...keep dreaming fucker

What's are your amp's EQ settings? I was thinking about either getting these or the ASB-BO-4.

The standard Line 6 Bass Pod 'classic rock' preset. Drive 4, Bass 8, Lo 9, Hi 8, Treb 6, Vol = whatever

I keep on hearing multiple strings ringing. I would suggest no pick, so your muting becomes excellent.
Pretty good besides that. :)

There is no reason for you to wear a bass that low, it looks stupid and it make's it harder to play.
Specter074 3 years ago
thats your opinion, it lets the picking arm relax more in my opinion.

the overdrive reminded me of tool. was that californication?
jakenfriedlove 3 years ago 2
Yep, that is californication. i play the same riffs in all my videos to help comparison between basses and pickups. The overdrive is an Ibanez PD7.
