  • The very first time I cried at a musical, i remember, it was on a trip with my mother and my sister to NY, it was my birthday present, going to see "THE LION KING", and i started crying of happines, when Rafiki started singing and some persons came out with some birds, its so hard to describe, and me singing in spanish all the songs, and saying all the dialogs, its a magical experience

  • @basteth66 Yeah, actually happened the same thing to me, when I saw the elephant coming in!

  • The best thing I've seen in the West End.

  • Saw it two days ago in london. the performance was simply brilliant! it was my favorite movie when I used to be a child and brought back so many good memories! I enjoyed every second and got choked up.. thank you so much for an amazing evening!

  • Im going to see this tommorow!! Eekkkk cant wait! xxxx

  • Even with this one little clipping from this show, I was brought to tears. Such power! Such imagination! I grew up with the lion king franchise as a whole, and after eleven years since I first experienced it, I see more and more from it, it becomes more powerful as I grow older, and the more I grow, the more I am affected by it. When I see such beauty in art, I know that there is indeed a god in heaven compelling select few people to create beauty like this. Thankyou so very much!!!

  • they were parts of this on youtube but SOMEONE deleted all of them. yep i'm looking at you DisneyOnBroadway

  • I waited 11 years to see this show in London and it was definately worth the wait when I saw it in June this year. The Lion King is my favourite film ever and seeing it on stage was an experience I'll never forgot. I cried like 3 times and no musical I've seen has done that to me and I've seen a lot of shows. I'd reccomend EVERYONE see this show. It's just brilliant!

  • I went there long long time ago,

    that was brilliant!!!!!!

  • I saw this a few summers ago in London. It was amazing!

  • The most amazing thing about this show, aside from the performances, is how they took an animated feature film, with not one single human character in it, and transformed and translated it so brilliantly to the stage. The imagination, costumes, puppetry, and artistry are just amazing!

  • I should of course give credit to those most responsible for that brilliant transformation... Julie Taymor and Michael Curry

  • i've seen this twice! once when i was really little and then a second time. so good! :)

  • i seen this last year,, i had tears in my eyes because of how beautiful of a show it was absolutely brilliant.. words can't even descibe it.. i'm from canada and flew to toronto just to see this.. i would love to go see it again ,.. and again.. and again etc... did i say i loved it???? lol

  • I wish I could go!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lion King! <33

  • Wow. That montage was surprisingly good. I have to admit, I've only seen this one through YouTube clips, and those have been mostly the Tony and Oscars. Now, having seen this "trailer" (can a Broadway show have an actual trailer?) I definitely want to see this performed live!

  • Saw the musical yesterday (my first musical ever) in the London Lyceum Theater and the elephant (in the beginning) came from the back of the stage (so we didn't saw it first arriving because it was behind us)

  • When I went it came from the back door of the theater. It was about a foot from my face!

  • I have seen it from the floor, the elephant comes the first time from the left back doors , the second time from the right side of stage .

  • I saw it saturday, it was the best thing ive ever seen, i cried like a baby all the way through!!! was awesome!!!!
