No offense but Freddi's voice didn't crack, he sang different variation of the notes because the audiences singing along messed up the song, so, he sang the notes (you called "cracking") intentionally. Which is also why he never began Rhapsody with the familiar piano notes. An attemp to keep the song fresh.

By the time they had got to Japan it had been a very long tour, Freddies voice was not 100% on this night, big deal. I saw them in earlier May 1982 and he was perfect. They all seemed a bit off (Tired?) on this gig, jet lag, illness who knows.
