I've loved this cover for a couple years now; really impressed with how well you made the tabs for yourself all by ear. (Assuming it was by ear and they're not just posted all over the net somewhere.) Anyway, great video. Love the channel.
Would you be willing to write out a really rough guide to what it is you're playing?
I can see it's in G#m, and a decent amount of the sound can be achieved by holding the bar chord, but it's difficult to see what it is you're doing other than that..
Yeah I've been able to pick apart most of it by ear but there are still some notes I'm missing in the sequence. I'd greatly appreciate some help/ a better view of your hands! Thanks for this amazing piece--it's a truly a great job done well.
Don't take it personally man, it's just the compression :D Anyway, you being ugly/notugly is not what's going on here, your cover made me totally speachless, great work.
this is great, especially because it unaccompanied. very nice job. i agree with iceagecomingmoney, could you please re-record with the camera facing the fretboard? im really keen to learn this
This is just amazing... I'd say the only bad thing about this clip is that more people haven't seen it. Only 2,000 views for this work of art is a grave injustice. However, my hat is off to you. Simply fantastic.
Honestly, this is the best cover of a song I have ever seen or heard; flawlessly played but also with so much emotion. And I haven't even heard the original version - I'm going to go buy the album now! BTW what effects do you use?
You wonderfully reproduce the hope/ dystopian nihilism that I hear in their music. Thank you . I was wondering if you could rerecord it with the fretboard facing the camera so that I can learn it if you aren't willing to tab. Please. Thanks
This is absolutely incredible, you perfectly capture the hope/ dystopian nihilism that I hear in GYBE. If you can't tab it could you please rerecord it with the fretboard facing the camera so that I can learn it by watching. Please. Thanks
you feel the song while playing. i think that's the reason for the nice tone and the play. can you give any link that has the tablature of this song. I couldn't find. thanx.
WHY ARE YOU SO HOT, OH MY GOD I THINK I HATE YOU

I wonder if the first notes are supposed to point towards the American Anthem.

define 'ugly'.
for me, it's people who call other people 'ugly' on youtube.

What guitar is this? Is it a semi-hollow? How did you get that sound? What reverb did you use? I'm amazed both by the sound and playing.

I am speechless. Its such an epic song that I did not even think it could be captured so well solo on a guitar. All the nuances are there Bravo!!!
