To clarify, as YOU seem to have trouble reading, I believe that his Parasect has the move Spore (or any other status move) occupying one of the four spaces allotted for the use of four corresponding moves within a Pokemon battle. And, with that, I believe this conversation is over.

@www263 actually it isn't really that great. it's very low sp.def combine with it's even lower speed makes it a sitting duck and is why most people don't use it.

he also didn't use any special strategy either, especially in the first attack, he was going to kill his infernape even if you weren't. i bet all his pokemon only knows attack moves.

@Overhazard When Ifirst started I thought Fire Blast was the best move, so I gave my first starter (Eevee) (friends game, he gave me his Eevee which evalved into Flarion) Fre blast and only used that move.

@muffinboy101010 "Sans" means "without." And no, you didn't say the use of such Pokemon isn't recommended, you merely called them "squishy" (on that note, what does that even mean? I wouldn't consider a Rhydon, whose body is made of rock capable of resisting the heat of magma, to be squishy). You said that you bet all of his Pokemon had only attacking moves, of which Spore is not. In closure, you shouldn't tell someone to read past comments when you clearly have no idea what has been said.

Also, you should never demand any opponent to play seriously. Everyone is free to play in whatever way they wish. That's why I respect all of my opponents, regardless of what they do, even unrepentant hackers and other assorted cheaters. It's all part of good sportsmanship.

@9ALDO Parasect can definitely be useful in the right hands. Parasect was used back at the beginning as an anti-Mewtwo strategy, for instance.

@9ALDO Nah, you're the one complaining about my use of Pokémon. The point of my using the ones I do is to show that the gap between OU and UU (and NU) is not as big as some people may think. You should never brush off a Pokémon as a non-threat, because underestimating an opponent is the biggest mistake you can make.

For instance, Parasect knows Spore. It's not quite as fast as Breloom, but it doesn't play in the same way. But due to this, I've seen Parasect wreak havoc, even today.

@9ALDO Oh, that's fine. What you seem to think is that you can determine who wins a battle by seeing what Pokémon they use, when that's totally not true.

Parasect may have the lowest total stats among it, Breloom, and Amoonguss, but all three play differently. I have no doubt that if my opponent was brave enough to use a Parasect against me, that he or she must have had something good planned.

The sunny day/solarbeam strategy in double battles is cool. I remeber using it too many years ago, in colosseum. My thyplosion (faster) launch sunny day and my jumpluff launch an instant charged solar beam. Besides, from the next turn, chlorophyl made jumpluff faster than anyone, shooting solarbeams first =P

Poison Jab has the Same Type Attack Bonus. When hitting for neutral damage or to a Grass Pokémon, Poison Jab will do more damage and has a chance of Poison.

Sunny Day on Nidoking? I obviously didn't expect that. Nor did I expect a Fire Punch on Nidoking either. Your teams seem to have a lot of variety on choice of Pokemon and their moves.

I always look for strange ways to make use of Pokémon. Sunny Day can also be used to stave off Water attacks and possibly Blizzards from other Pokémon.

Infernape is definitely not the fastest. I think its around the 30th fastest or so.

It's the way I trained my Nidoking to have the highest possible Speed for a Nidoking.

so, his infernape is certainly not the fastest one. maybe he should consider using trick room support and give an iron ball to his infernape. Just fling that iron ball at the end of trick room turn, hopefully killing a ghost type pokemon. before it faints, the infernape will probably say: death to all those pokemons that faster than me!

I really like ditto and I was wondering if ditto breaks the species clause if it transforms into a pokemon you own (like when your ditto transformed into abomasnow). Also, this was a very enjoyable battle, and I think your strategies are ingenious.

No, it doesn't. The Species Clause says you can't bring in more than 1 of the same Pokémon. Transforming into one of your own Pokémon is perfectly fine.

This was ovbiously an ingame pass. All of the evolved pokemon on this pass are catchable as evolved pokemon. And only Rhydon had an item. But it was fun to watch, nonetheless.
