Tom sounds great in this video actually, I just think some people don't like his voice. They're playing a show, so he's most likely just mixing things up a little bit for the concert. Mark is doing the same thing with his vocal parts. It doesn't sound exactly like the album; it sounds like a concert, and it's good to be able to change things up a bit live.
just try to sing live PLUS play guitar, and tom has difficult parts to sing, it's not easy.. and it's punkrock, they're allowed to flunk some. shut the fuck up people, they're good, no matter what they do. you cant exspect him to be perfect on stage dudes :D

I understand what you mean. Tom went downhill in vocals from 2002 till the time they broke up. He changed his singing style in Box Car Racer and stuck with it, like the way he pronounces words (it's not rooiight.) However, his guitar playing got better, probably because he didn't let it hang so low, which was due to his back injury. But I agree with you, man. He seems like he doesn't try on vocals sometimes, but then again, maybe there is a reason he is doing it, I don't know.

Real fans know it when their favourite band is doing something good or bad. Dare to criticize them I'd say. Real fans don't give the best score to every single album their favorourite ever made. Can you seriously say that Tom Delonge is a good singer? He is a good entertainer and Blink's music is happy crappy punk rock, that's why I like them, not because Tom is the greatest singer. I'm definitely going to see them live if they come back to Europe.

Tom sucks at singing, but that doesent make Blink a crapy band? That makes it better! It prooves that they dont play because they can and get money. They do it because they love it! Im in a band and my voice suck HARD! But i love to sing and play. Wich makes it more like music should be. Happy, fun and made with love!

to me, i know tom's singing has always been pretty bad live. but for the chorus, it's not the really the whole singing that irritates me but only the way he drags and pronounces the words when he sings it ! his tune itself isnt that bad actually

this is the story everyone for all whos wondering about toms addictions...right after boxcar racer ended tom broke a disk in his back, which tangled up with the biggest nerve in his body, and then started sawing it in half...and he was given ALOT of pain killers...and none of them were working so he just kept on taking them and eventually got hooked on em.

I understand what you mean. Tom went downhill in vocals from 2002 till the time they broke up. He changed his singing style in Box Car Racer and stuck with it, like the way he pronounces words (it's not rooiight.) However, his guitar playing got better, probably because he didn't let it hang so low, which was due to his back injury. But I agree with you, man. He seems like he doesn't try on vocals sometimes, but then again, maybe there is a reason he is doing it, I don't know.

wow. tom is badass and way more famous then u will ever be. and its not all about the fans. its about the band. a band plays what they want to hear and what they want to play.when they stop doing that, thats when they become sellouts. tom was also on drugs which affected his singing greatly. u try playin in front of that many people.its hard.hes also sang with a punk tone for so many years and that fucks up yer voice soo bad.but tom still sounds good in my opionion. its an acquired taste i guess
