As a musician with a back ground in liturgical music, I can honestly say that this theme ranks in the top 10 of all time along with "Love Theme from St. Elmo's Fire, Terms of Endearment, Pour Adelene," etc. It is unfortunate that it is associated with a violent movie which has become a cult thing. But hey, that may give it some panache as the hint of sadness in the minor chords makes this one amazing syncopation to which you never get tired of listening. . Congratulations Maestro Maroder !

This is such an emotional tune to me. Makes me think about the struggles and the pain i ve been through all these years. the electric guitar kind of ruins the "goose bumps" feeling... if they took the guitar out this song would of been so much better... I mean the reason it was so emotional in the movie is that you didn't hear one part of that electric guitar or it was very faint that you couldn't hear it.. Oh well Scarface is still one of the best fucking movies to date and will be for years to come, if not decades!
