I'm glad someone finally posted this song. Even when this song was out, people always talked about the other songs and not this one. These young kids can't sing, or play like this anymore. Melvin Wilson was a killer vocalist. The kids these days have the same kind of voice, no range whatsoever.
I always loved this track, it was my favorite on the album. I know that "Wildflower' and one or two of the other songs got all the airplay and recognition, but in my opinion, this was the WINNER!

This LP was the second LP I ever purchased back in 1974. I use to come home from school and listen to the LP everyday thinking about my girlfriend. This track was my favorite, but I didn't understand it's meaning. It wasn't until several years latter when I was heartbroken and depressed that I understood what this song means. This song has pulled me up from heartbreak ever since. I've been collecting vinyl records for over thirty years and this LP holds power over me.
