  • He like an American James Bond with that promo. Just so smooth.

  • those eyes freek me the hell out

  • mike quackenbush as a heel, that's just scary good

  • Mr. Promo strikes again!!!!

  • Man, I hope those faces were intentional. Nice promo, delivered is his incomparable style.

  • Quackenbush is the man.

  • Where did this fight happen? Cause I like heel Quackenbush. And to Asimtan, stop blowing this out of preportions. Its not like ripping opponent's masks aren't uncommon. Hell the last two time I've seen that were matches involving Japanese wrestlers :p

  • It took place in the new FSM promotion.

As for the mask ripping, it's a heel technique that goes back many decades.

  • Hell if Muta had not done so to Liger we would have no Quack.

  • Quack is godlike. But, the line "over my waist" made me giggle.

  • Great promo. Fairly sadistic. I wanna know what he was looking at, but I liked that he didn't stare at the camera.

On what happened, kayfabe-wise: it could be that he simply got too into the mind game of undoing Tiger Mask's mask. Either way, he won.

  • the japanese press' video camera as well.

  • Sheesh, what's wrong with everyone? It was booked this way, besides this makes a good heel heat for him when he heads to Japan. I love puro but come on, its still fixed like WWE only they have better champs than say John Cena.

  • I mean I rather watch Tanahashi than say hmmmm Great "Lame" Khali. Japanese wrestlers make it look more legit despite being fixed like any other wrestling

  • >ri95171

Is that all you can say? No logical conversation? I just simply mentioned Japanese perspective regarding wrestling. That's all.

    >IKnowsWrestling

You are absolutely right. Totally agree with you.

As long as Quackenbush stayed away from Japan Puroresu, I do not care. If he really wants to come to Japan, then he needs to understand our perspectives and he should show us some respects.

Anyway I will shut up. This is the last message of mine. Do not worry.

  • Also Tiger Mask IV's real name is on Wikipedia now(unsourced mind you). I'm not sure but is this a sign that someone new maybe placed into the gimmick soon?

  • Hahaha, well too bad...He's booked for Michinoku Pro in 8 days. Why don't you go tell him how you feel...

  • I think someone needs to stick a wallet under Asimtan's tongue...

  • (4) Anyway, All I want to say is that what Quackenbush did in this fight was unacceptable from Japanese wrestling perspectives. I have already spread the info about this unfairness to all Japanese wrestling funs of mine. Our conclusion is that Quackenbush..... do not even thinks about going to Japan. We do NOT need Quakenbush, unfair guy. Japanese wrestling needs fighters who shows FAIRNESS and RESPECT as well as wrestling skills. NOT UNDOING THE LACES! That's all! Thanks for reading.

  • (3) Aerican Dragon or Prince Davitt, Ga-i-ji-n wrestlers figting in the Shin-nichi wrestling company are very "FAIR" and "RESPECTFUL." Actually, not only wrestlers but K-1 and Pride Ga-i-ji-n fighters in Japan, also. No wonder all Japanese wrestling companies have ignored Quackenbush. They have made a right decision. Japanse PURORESU is not a sports entertainment!

  • (2) The fight of Shin-Nichi Wrestling, where Tigermask and Jushin Riger are belong to, is frequently described as "Strong style." The virture of this philosophy is Toukon, which can be tanslated to fighting spirit or fighting soul. Japanese audiences do not put importance on winning/losing but how the wrestler shows his spirits, soul, emotion as well as his wrestling skills. Faireness and respecting to the opponent are important as much as these.

  • (1) Do you guys know what Quackenbush did in this fight? Even I do not want to call it fight. It's not wroth! What Quackenbush did was that he continually tried to undo the laces on Tiger Mask's mask to try to unmask him. At the end, he completely unmasked him and quickly pinned him. That's totally "UNFAIR" and "DISRESPECTFUL" from Japanese wrestling perspectives. Quackenbush should feel "ashamed" for that.

  • No matter how the match went down I'm pretty sure all parties involved approved the way it was booked.

  • ...so I read all 4 of your posts...Is it merely unfair and disrespectful for a Gaijin to do it or do you hold the Great MUTA to this standard as well. seeing as how he Ripped Liger's mask from his body like a man posessed.

  • I like the angle. Quack's facials are crazy...he looks like he's been pushed to the edge. Like to see him defend that title against Milano Collection, myself. Take heed... Crazy Quack is coming!

  • Undoing the laces on mask is NOT wrestling in JAPAN! Totally, against our fighting philosophy, Toukon (fighting soul)! Does he want to get an attention from Japanese wrestling companies? Certainly, he got attention which is

JAPANESE wrestling companies do NOT need Quackenbush!

That's for sure! Japanese people like us do not buy a ticket to see the maskman's face but real WRESTLING!

  • this is an angle, don't take it so serious, I'm friends with Quack and I know whats going down, just let it unfold

  • Way to go Quackenbush!!!! He's always been one of the best technicos wrestlers around he should be a super rudos gaijin in Japan where he will tear things up Chikara Style and show the world why he owns the best promotion goin.

  • Quack attack ain't cutting no slack!

  • Even Flair and Guerrero stumbled over a word or phrase from time to time. The promo is still excellent.

  • TheKyle is king of smarties

  • Crazy eyes

  • meh.

  • Quack Quack Quack!!!

  • Man, he sounds evil.

  • "Putting this (belt) over my waist"

Sorry, Japan. Us American folk ain't that smart, I reckon.

  • I agree with smalls5791. Quack vs. Lyger needs to happen. I know Lyger is a heel now, but this can be a temporary face turn for him. Here's a good headline. "Evil Foreigner Mike Quackenbush wants to take the Japanese wrestling scene by storm. Can one of the most legendary Junior Heavyweights of all time, the great Jushin Lyger, put Quack away?"

  • Excellent stuff. I'm suprised it's taken this long.

  • Quack is the man.

  • Quack > JAPAN!

  • Awesome promo.

  • book it now

    Quack Vs. Lyger

  • if this happened i would go to japan to see it
