if its coded ,i cant help but to think for some reason it is all inverted left to right and up to down, after it was encrypted, it all looks to be a mix of phonetician and latin alphabets, but is the structure of Tigrinya where you have separate characters for consonants and vowel combinations.

These illustrations are just like other early herbals.. with possibly a flower oracle thrown in - floramancy?... There is no explanation as to why there would be a language unknown and not referenced elsewhere in history, unless it is indeed a created one by a single individual.
