He alleged Yao was targeted for moving screens in 05, and that a ref was reprimanded for ejecting Payton in January 2000. When in fact Yao was called for 2 screens in five games the rest of that series, and the referee who ejected Payton was reprimanded not for ejecting Gary, but for not even trying to avoid confrontation w/ a player.

heres a reason why the Kings lost this game and it wasnt the refs fault, they let the Lakers score over 30 points in the first quarter alone!! How are you going to win a game if you allow teams to score over 30 in a single quarter? Not to mention Fisher, Bryant and Horry are all shooting well, Webber has been reduced to an outside shooter, Turkoglu and Christie are scoreless and Divac has made one basket. Not going to win a game that way Kings fans.

theres horrible officiating in every single series. difference is , the ref that worked this one has admitted this series was fixed, he went to jail and got beat up for talkin. back in the day, i said the refs were horrible, especially in game 6, but theres no doubt now the kings were the better team, the lakers had help from the refs, no longer a rumor, a fact now

The officials were Dick Bavetta, Bob Delaney, and Ted Bernhardt. Anyone who tells you differently is trying to rewrite history to support their viewpoints.

The FBI found Donaghy truthful to this extent:

refs are given memos before a playoff game, with points to emphasize that night. The Game 6 memo said "fouls are being missed in series that could benefit LA". Tim's other claims weren't fully investigated.

Just to clear this up. I said "fouls are being missed", and Games 4 and 5 saw Shaq/Kobe getting fouled on numerous shot attempts with no call, fouls that should have been called, Vlade shouldve fouled out Game 5

OK SO FAR: Great officiating in the 1st quarter overall. Only things that bugged me was the no call for Bibby driving against Shaq earlier in the 1st and the and 1 by Horry. Divac flopped, Webber clearly offensively fouled Horry, Fox and Turkoglu were both going for the rebound, no foul there. Great officiating in the first quarter.
