It's probably for the best you didn't make the Pumpkins, because if you did, you would have to play by Billy's rules. Desite his musical talent, he is a very arrogant, ego-centric type, it's all about me type person, thus he wouldn't give you any creative freedom. The beginning and the end of your role in the band would be playing the bass to his riffs, with him there would be no him play the riffs to your bass lines. On your own, you will have the freedom to do whatever the hell you want.

I don't much buy into rumors and hear-say, and I'm sure the Pumpkins' live shows are a lot more collaborative than people assume. The studio is probably a different story, but I honestly don't think Billy is just a dictator about shows. But like I said, I've never been in a band with him, so I don't know. I never had a chance anyway! lol

Billy Corgan never bothered to notify any of these fine musicians that the auditions have basically been over for a month.
