I've seen koalas in the wild and they are very shy and timid and if you did manage to get close to them, they are very agressive and will like this bloke said rip the shit out of you. Usually they would claw the shit out of you if you tried to touch one or pick it up. That's why the firefighter was so amazed that it put it's hand out and let him stroke it, normally they would never do that. It's because the poor thing was traumatised by the fire, it ended up dieing of the burns it had sustained unfortunatley.

i live here were the bushfires were and these people were amazing to us and they helped us so much. The air was full of smoke and its sad to no what happened. I went camping a few weeks ago and I saw the damage it left when I was walking.
