I don't know what everyone is talking about the reality shows on MUCK. You must be thinking of MTV. The only show I watch on MUCH these days is Video on Trial, and that is hit-or-miss.

Curt Smith from Tears For Fears says that these huge corporations aren't getting behind the older bands and artists because they want to launch the careers of the younger bands and artists.

I agree with TimeToBreakUp89 and xxbeetlejuicexx, much music does fucking suck now and some of the reality shows on there suck balls so I dont even get the point of having them on there, and plus the station is call much MUSIC, not much REALITY they so need to stop the crap and a go back to the way they used to be

MuchMusic needs to play more music. I used to watch it alllll the time. Now it's just reality. The guy before me was right. Much on Demand? Nah, they play what 5 songs in an hour? Couldn't even handle 10 anymore. And I used to love Much Dedication too. Only one worth watching anymore in Countdown.

Everyone hated it at first cuz we had to watch crap like NIGHT HEAT, but it was worth it in the end. We now have a polished film/tv, recording , and publishing industry for such a small country. Certain Media like cable shows(hgtv, food network, etc) are now better than the Americains and we export them.
well, just like any new TV (free-to-air or cable) station, mistakes were probably the order of the day on much's 1st broadcast...@3:00-3:22 for example, they suddenly cut to a live shot of the studio while everyone at much was waiting to go live on "citypulse" with gord martineau (because i saw the monitor on one of the TV cams switch briefly to a "citypulse" feed)...
this summer, it's going to be 25 years since this all happened...too bad it's an entirely different atmosphere now...
