Chinas repressive and violent campaigns have led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Tibetans, the Dalai Lama said yesterday in a speech in Dharamshala, while urging Tibetan and Chinese people to live as friends. These 50 years have brought untold suffering and destruction to the people of Tibet, Free Tibet !, and long live the Dalai Lama!! May all his wishes quickly be achieved.
Cullture argument by Lama ring untrue... Too long a part fo china.. but it eh big criticism agaisnt christianity... secondly, Lama hate talking about history... Like Vatican Pope history show Papacy for what it is... a killer of small cultures throughout the world... Tibet is an independent country before 1959. If it was not an independent country, why does the Chinese govt consider talking to HH Dalai Lama who is their head?? Why would they talk to a high lama of Tibet who they say is not a leader as Tibet was a part of China??
Also if the HH Dalai Lama says that he cannot tell the tibetan protesters to shut up then is he an effective leader? If he cannot control his own ppl, the what is the point of him wishing to talk to the president of China???
The new Chinese "mall" around the Potala Palace actually blasts MUZAC toward the Palace! The apparently want to disrupt the monk's chants! Shame on the Chinese!
