I've been to games in both the US and Canada since I was old enough to remember and I'll take fans in Winnipeg, Quebec, Hamilton, Kamloops, The Soo, and many other towns over NHL "fans" in Nashville, the Floridas, Atlanta, Dallas, Phoenix, and Carolina.

The NHL needs to be up in the north where it belongs. Not all in Canada but in cities where it actually has snow.

Downfall? The Canucks are better than they have ever been. They've broken or tied so many franchise records this season including most points in a season, wins by a goaltender, wins in a season. I liked Bertuzzi and still do, but trading him for Luongo gave the Canucks something they needed for a while- consistent goaltending (the likes of which he havn't seen since Kirk Mclean.
