That is not true, torque is vital part when doing acceleration, but for top speed you use horsepower. Example: max torque is in about 2000-4500rpm, and HP is in about 5500-6500rpm, depends of car...

you turely have no idea what you are talking about. the speed of the car is almost solely adusted according to what speed rating the tires that are installed on the cars. and, computer is programmed for the latter.
the phaeton is the quitest 12 cyl car iv ever heard. I work in a vilkswagon garage and we have many 6.0 w12 phaetons in here....this is an amazing luxury powerfull car with huge prestige and a lot of characters.
This car truly is a techinical marvel, a real love of labour. I would love the V8 version. My only wish would be that B&O did the entertainment side of it, like the A8.

It's a great car for when u want to "fly underneath the scanner". It has all the interior technology of a Bentley Cont.Flying Spur w/o the price or badge. It has been great for me.

The Phaeton is a marvellous car but has one significant problem, it has no real status it the upper class. Two years ago we had a wedding celebration. We drove a black A8 (3,2 l) and a black Phaeton (3,2 l), both cars are perfect, but the Phaeton is much more confortable and silent than the A8, that I never reckoned before. Moreover the Phaeton is more luxury and Imaho the interior lighting more various and not only (Audi)red ;-)
The Bentley Continental has basically the same engine, drive train, suspension and alot of interior components that are the same as the Phaeton. The same applies to the Flying Spur too.
they still make the phaeton, just not in america due to the fact that they only sold 500 in 2004 when they had projected selling 5000. if you want one, go to europe.
A W12 Phaeton on the move would walk away from an F430.

It's a great car for when u want to "fly underneath the scanner". It has all the interior technology of a Bentley Cont.Flying Spur w/o the price or badge. It has been great for me.

Do you have a V8 or a 6.0 W12? The Phaeton W12 has a top speed of 201MPH(323 km/h) when you disable the stupid Governor.

The Phaeton is a marvellous car but has one significant problem, it has no real status it the upper class. Two years ago we had a wedding celebration. We drove a black A8 (3,2 l) and a black Phaeton (3,2 l), both cars are perfect, but the Phaeton is much more confortable and silent than the A8, that I never reckoned before. Moreover the Phaeton is more luxury and Imaho the interior lighting more various and not only (Audi)red ;-)

The Phaeton has had way more research when it was built.
The Audi A8 is basically the old Audi V8 (which is built on the Audi 200) with a single frame grille and ASF. (aluminium space frame)
If you dig in the engineering of the Phaeton, the car has a build quality and engineering feats exceeding even Maybach's.
Only the Climatronic system is an engineering marvel.

I work at a VW dealership in The Netherlands and I can safely say they are still made. They just don't sell many.

The Bentley Continental has basically the same engine, drive train, suspension and alot of interior components that are the same as the Phaeton. The same applies to the Flying Spur too.

they still make the phaeton, just not in america due to the fact that they only sold 500 in 2004 when they had projected selling 5000. if you want one, go to europe.
