I'm curious as to what took so long with the armbar. I mean Kudos for hanging on, but especially the way that was applied shoulda been a tapfest. You just gotta work on your game some more.
Eric must be double jointed :) It took me a while to remember to extend my hips. Once you step in the cage your whole thought process changes and things that you know like the back of your hand can suddenly be forgotten.
Yeah, I'm not going to lie - I was pretty pissed off about slipping, so I hung on a lot longer than I should have. Had to put ice on my elbow afterward, and took a few weeks to finally get it back to normal.
Easy to say when you are typing in front of a computer. Eric Martindale is one tough guy and not to mention a class act. He has had at least four Cagefights which I am guessing is about four more than you will ever have.
