I think this is a sign that the GOP is realizing that the days of conservative insanity in voting booths are over. As a Liberal I am not entirely enjoying the GOP fiasco - only because I really want the political divisiveness that they have fomented over the last 30-40 years to stop.

However I do feel bad for those moderate Republicans who voted for Obama but are caught in the middle between their own party and those on the Left.
