  • Hey I wanted to know - how did you wire the IPAC to the Sanwa controls? I know the sanwas dont have common ground... Do you have a layout for me?

    Thanks!

  • Now this is what I'm talking about - simple and mobile. As much as I enjoy the old school cabs, those things are just plain monstrosities.

  • I thought SF4 was an 8 button game ? why a 6 button layout?

  • @AxiomofDiscord - It's 6, plus one for Player start

  • @AxiomofDiscord Really...?

  • HEY NICED JOB I AM IMPRESS

  • get the sticks more into the wood so the metal parts doesnt bug you cuz it looks uncoumfterble

  • I've got a sheet of 3mm wood to place over the top, and then it'll be covered in vinyl. Im just lazy!

  • @DisL0gic xD nice

  • cheap skate..

  • I got a cabinet and I made a SFVI PC version arcade meaning i built a pc then installed SFIV then used autohotkey to run the game(skipping Launcher) when you turn on the PC. would it be something that I can sell If I made it into a cabinet?

  • @5etherial Maybe, i think the thing is, to sell, it has to be rock solid unless your selling to someone you know. Maybe if you only had it running the bare minimum, it may be ok... Its running on windows, so it only takes something stupid to completely destroy the illusion (like blue screen). And i think you may end up providing support. You cant present the "customer" with a coin slot, and i guess you would have to include a screen as well. Good luck if you can!

  • Very nice arcade table! I'm just curious, there is any purpose at this inclination/ramp on joystick panel? I mean.....could not be straight? or inclined is better for some reason? I see lots of arcade joysticks (custom or professional) to play SFIV on the lap and theres no inclination at all, but i noticed some arcade cabinets with this inclination on the panel.........i guess may have a special reason for it.

sorry by english and thank you !

  • @DanielFSMedeiros

I was going for something that didnt look "boxy". Flat control panel, plus the 2 inches underneath required for buttons and wiring would make it pretty square. In practice, it's also more comfortable to sit in the couch with your hands on and angle up i think. Kinda like a keyboard that has it's feet up. There's not that much difference between the two, so it's just personal preference really! Cheers for the comment!

  • hahaha. "just need to find some friends now". classic!

  • @EvilAkuma88 Now that Super SF4 is out and with the xbox controller hack, I've had plenty of friends the past two weeks :P

  • very nice, wat size t.v?

  • @faze1988 Cheers! 46" Bravia.

  • Windows version of the game or Ps3 or xbox360? what version you using? because there is no dual mode player on pc.

  • you can see the live symbol there, so my guess would be the XBOX360 (unless that's also the symbol for games for windows live).

  • Actually scratch that, if you look carefully you can see the keyboard keys at the bottom of the screen.

  • @Xeijin - Windows Version of the game. It was hard work to get the two player going because it wont let you do two player key board. The ipac is a keyboard emulater, so i had to use a work around. I used an app called "ppjoy" to emulate game pads, and then mapped those to key board keys, which are mapped to the ipac, which map to arcade buttons.

  • LOL.The dog

  • That's XBOX 360 Console Game what about the PS3 Just Test Playing Game the Tekken 6

DisL0gic But Soon The Super Street Fighter IV

  • @eduardoestrella2k10 - Very much looking forward to super street fighter 4, hence why i did the xbox controller hack (see my other video). I wasnt sure if was coming out on PC, i hacked the controllers into this arcade machine, so now i can play SSFIV on xbox when it comes out!

  • @eduardoestrella2k10 PS3 IS A PIECE OF DOGSH!T!! SO IS THE NINTENDO Wii

  • those buttons don't sound sanwa

  • Sorry if i said the buttons are Sanwa. They aren't. The stick is, but not the buttons.

  • "I just need to find some friends now" made me laugh so hard thanks for making my day

  • your british accent sounds fake.

  • Your ignorance is real...It's australian...

  • HAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHHAHA

    aussie aussie oi oi oi!!!!

  • @Paperclown haha dumb ass

  • LOL such a tool

  • Does local multi player work for Street Fight IV with this set up?

  • Yes, but it was a pain because the PC version assumes that two people wont be using keyboard, and because ipac is a keyboard emulator i had to use a work-around. Using PPjoy (a keyboard/gamepad emulator) and Glovepie (a gamepad key mapping program) i was able to "trick" the PC into thinking one keyboard, and one gamepad being used. Net result, it works very well after some messing around. Note, see my other xbox video to see another way to do it. Hack xbox controls, then xbox usb dongle.

  • very good , why do your monitor so far ? there is something like a table over your control panel ,what is it ?,

  • Why strain your neck when you can relax on the couch? The intention was to put the monitor in it, but the 46" bravia sitting in front makes it way more comfortable, and more social when i have people over.

  • Looking good, needs some paint and some cool artwork overlay for the CP but great work man! Thanks for sharing!

  • nice job! if its totally homemade

  • Yes, totally home made :P

Glad this could come off to even look remotely professional!

  • new LCD monitors give better picture quality than our old crt at the time of snes ,sega genesis ,psx & ps2 ,exept the dreamcast that can display in vga .
