@BAIYUE1 Another point. I love cantonese. I cannot speak or understand it very well though. But good for all Chinese to know Mandarin so that we can communicate with a common language. But also good to know some dialects, if one could, to appreciate the beauty of that dialect's culture eg their operas. Hence, policy makers should not exclude dialects completely!

What the fuck....the sound of this lyric is nasty. Cantonese dialect is the very unpleasant to hear. Mandarin dialect sounds much better. Cantonese sounds like to dogs barking at each others....ha...ha..lol.

People in north china speak Madarin as mother language,and Chinese government also choose madarin as official language of Chinese.
people in Guangdong,Hongkong,(some cantonese in southeast asia,USA,canada,..) speak cantonese as mother language.
