The M60 in well-trained hands is a very accurate weapon, in a stand(its called a tripod or weapons mount, dumkopft)or out. It take many thousans of rounds to become an expert machinegunner. Take a look at his face, It's his first time, and your first time shooting a machinegun is indeed orgasmic!
Machine guns aren't really meant to be that accurate, more about covering fire and getting the enemies' heads down. Still in controlled fire they can be as good as a rifle with fresh barrel, proper stance/mount and good operator.
