@verbadocent Gdy miałem 4 lata na podwórko pomiędzy ulicami: Lipową, a - Okopową w Lublinie wjechał tabor cygański . Rozstawili wozy, wyszli z nich cyganie z muzyką- prawdziwa cygańska orkiestra. Zespół grał , cyganki podnosiły zrzucane z okien i balkonów papierki, w których były zawinięte drobne monety. Taki widok pozostał mi pod powiekami. To był ostatni cygański tabor. W tym samym (1964) roku zabroniono cyganom wędrownego trybu życia.
