  • that coil has real retro taste in music

  • is there a way to mass produce these little badboys?!?!!?!??!

  • @ParapaDrifter Jamie Buturff and Marko are working on that now. Like all projects, it takes Funding!

But there is a relatively new toroidal coil winding unit called the SMC-4 by a company called Jovil.

    They're located in Connecticut.

Marko said that he purposely didn't copyright or patent the coil so that WE could create companies and sell them if we wanted.

And you can use the image and material for merchandise like shirts, etc too.

Put them together, sell um, And help others!

    It's up to Us.

  • @ParapaDrifter there was a guy in the comments of another persons video that said he could set up his winding machine to do these coils ...... but i worked at an electronics place ... and the engineer preffered his stuff to be wound by hand due to the machine stretching the magnet wire ........ soooo .... maybe?

  • cool! i wonder if it plays Nonpology? did you hook it directly to a speaker output of a radio? i will try this with my first flat rodin coil. cool.

  • You can do this with an ordinary solenoid as well. Nothing too special. :)

  • HARRP

  • @nja2015 Thanks for the comment, I don't think that it's resonating through the container (at least not 100%) The container is a plastic bucket and the plastic is not rigid. I don't think it could be carrying the high and low end frequencies of the music so clearly. I don't really know why it works so well. The sound seems to come from the centre of the coil through the water into the air and still sound fine.

Your idea about using it on an electric vehicle s interesting btw bike looks good.
