... so I walked back toward the second car and returned to the first car to fix the tract. I was still a little nervous and worried during processes. When I returned home, I thanked Jesus for the oppotunities and I remembered parts of 2 Peter 3:9. Both tracts were in Spanish and the first car had a "I heart Jesus" air fresher.
I wasn't sure for flipping it cuz the sin of fortune telling, but I remember the story of Jonah so I went for it. I flipped 2 pennies and 1 dime. Heads (penny), tails (penny) and heads (dime). When I went to the cars, I saw the same 2 license plate numbers on the first car. I left the Mary tract the same imfor on the back on the car and walked forward. I walked back and placed Papa? with the Google imfor on the back on the wiper of the other car. I noticed that the Mary tract fell in. ...
Testimony: Yesterday when I walked my dog, I noticed two catholic cars with catholic items (Guadalupe bumper sticker, rosary and scapular, catholic plant knot in 1 car and a rosary in the other). I wasn't sure of putting cuz I was nervous and worried. I prayed to Jesus if I find a Bible passage (on the computer) I will do it, but nothing. I knew that God want to save people, so I prayed to Jesus that I will do it or go by flipping coins (I don't remember how I prayed). ...

... and in the store to let me run into a old classmate (and she may run into me) of mine for I may meet her give a certain tract, but didn't happen. After paying, the south entrance closed and we exited through the north one. We walked across a few lanes. I walked toward the catholic car and saw a rosary and the 2 license plate numbers. I left this tract with John 2:5 (in Spanish and with Jesus next to the word "os") and "Google: Alberto Rivera & Charles Chiniquy" on the windshield wiper ...
Testimony: Yesterday, my parents, middle brother, dog and I went to a Lucky Supermarkets and park in a south side. When I cam out, I noticed a car with a catholic radio (Guadalupe) bumper sticker and 2 numbers of the license plate that reminded me of a Bible passage. I prayed to Jesus to let the owner or car stay in place when I came back. My brother was trying to get my attention while I was praying. My Dad, brother and I entered with the south entrance. I also prayed to Jesus earlier ...
Testimony: One day my Mom and I went to a Superior Grocers and parked in front of a car with a rosary and/or Guadalupe necklace. I left this tract with a tract of my church in it on the windshield wiper on the shotgun side. In the store, I noticed a teenage girl with her mom and maybe another woman. When we came to our vehicle, I discovered that the daughter & mother (maybe they had another person with them) were the owners of the car that I placed the tracts on. The Lord allowed this to happen.
@coffinperson Well if you were thought to pray to Mary as if she is some kind of goddess ... Thank god that you became protestant .. at least you got 1 thing right as if a blasphemy to worship Mary as we worship God alone. And just in case you were not thought in your catechism class when you were catholic... Catholic Do Not Worship Mary. God bless my fellow brother/sister in Christ
@coffinperson In fact most eastern catholic cleric are MARRIED with their own families. The rule of celibacy is just a form of discipline as in 1 Corinthians 7:32-33( I want you to be free from anxieties. The unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord. But the married man is anxious about worldly things, how to please his wife). Wow didn't your catechism teacher thought you that when you ''were'' catholic. Part 4
@coffinperson protestant church is the true one? which protestant church is heretical? Of course the person who answer would naturally defend they own denomination just as u did with yours. still thinking that 1 Timothy 4:1-3 refers to the catholic church as the clerics are celibate rite. Think again! Catholic clerics are not all celibate, celibacy only apply to the latin rite where IS ONLY A FORM OF DICIPLINE and NOT AN OFFICIAL TEACHING OF THE CHURCH. Part 3
@coffinperson and twist and manipulate scripture to meet their needs. If they don agree among themselves they just break up and for their form own church to suits their own ideas... hence there are more the 30000 types of protestants denominations the the whole all not in agreement with each other ( like u just did by calling Martin Luther a heratic).Mmmmm I wonder which one of the thousands of .part 2..
@coffinperson well as mention earlier, the faith of the catholic and orthodox have not change since the time of the apostles , whatever thing that was doctrines were decide in ecumenical councils just as the apostles did. The only huge break from traditional Christian teaching was when Martin Luther decide to go against church teaching and his future generation of rebellions( protestants) regardless of their denomination continue to pick and throw christian teaching as and when they likepart 1
@coffinperson I do not wish to cause a war, but that is not true. Moses used the snake God turned to stone for prayers, and in Exodus 25:18-21 God commands two statues be made of angels.
Catholics do not worship Mary! I would know, I am one. We just hold her in high regard, and if Mary going to temple proves she was a sinner, then Jesus was one, considering he was baptized.
Also, Catholics are not the only ones who "like" Mary. Martin Luther even called her, "below Christ, the greatest gem in Christianity."
I was raised Catholic, so I should know. Prayer is a form of worship. The rosary was borrowed from Hinduism. I remember having to count off "hail Mary" prayers to Mary on the rosary. Mary was a sinner, Jesus was not. Besides, the Bible explicitly says to not build statues or idols...and what does the Catholic church do? Exactly that. Martin Luther was also a heretic in my opinion.
@coffinperson raised as a catholic ?? you must be quite silly for not questioning and understanding the practices of your faith. the problem with protestants are they take the bible literally ... The bible is actually quite complex as in you have to understand the way the writer writes it and the customs of that age it was written. One cannot make a doctrine just base on 1 verse picked for some chapter of the bible. (part 1)
@coffinperson The bible must be read as a whole taking into consideration other verses of the bible to get the big picture. As for you and me a particular verse could mean differently to each of us depending on how we look at it. How do we know which opinion is true? Jesus tell us in the bible Matthew 16:18 And I tell you, you are Peter(which also means rock), and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (part 2)
@coffinperson . Just by this fact Jesus have entrusted the church to the care of apostle Peter and the pope come from an unbroken line of apostolic succession. Is apostolic succession necessary? Yes cause in the bible during the age of the apostles we see that when a Christian leader is appointed the apostle laid their hands (part 3)
@coffinperson on their head as seen in Acts 6:3-6 Brothers and sisters, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.” This proposal pleased the whole group. (part 4)
@coffinperson They chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit; also Philip, Procorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas from Antioch, a convert to Judaism. They presented these men to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them. The pope and the bishops are successors of the apostles, so what the big deal??(Part 5)
@coffinperson Well interpretation of the scripture was done in councils where the Christian leaders (apostles) gather and discuss on matters of faith. The first major counsel was the Council of Jerusalem as documented in Acts 15:7-11 and note that Peter (the first pope) stood as a leader in the council. Interpretation of scripture was continued by the successors of the apostles which are the bishops and has not change since the time of the apostles(part6)
@coffinperson . How would I know if some of the leaders have gone astray and teach false teaching about the church? Well as seen in the the bible Jesus promise that the gate of hell shall not prevail against His church and the early Christians were the catholic and the orthodox and together the bishops have agreed on seven councils which agree on the veneration of saints and holy images.(part 6)
@coffinperson . If they have gone wrong about it then Jesus have not keep His promise, doesn’t it sound disturbing if Jesus never keep His promise. Even though Orthodox Church are not in full communion with the Catholic Church, their core doctrine are the same and the differences are minor and not as major as rejecting the The Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist like most Protestants do. Part 7
@coffinperson Some people may think that they have verses that can go against catholic and orthodox teaching, but rest assured every single teaching of the church can be defended by bible verses. Maybe is time for you to study more scripture as a whole and not in bits as well as understand the history of Christianity and not blindly following people without first doing some research yourself. Lastly to be deep in history and scripture is to cease being protestant. God bless you. Part 8
1 Timothy 4:1-3 Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
