Mephiles realizes he'll need much more power than he already has to unleash Iblis upon the world once again. Scourge reminds Mephiles of the mythical Hyper Emeralds rumored to be scattered across dimesnions. At first, Scourge plans to use his superior speed to steal the emeralds once they're collected, but realizes Mephiles would be a valuable ally in his conquest of Mobius. Scourge feels something pull him back, and he is greeted by Ix, who points out they all want one thing: revenge on Sonic.

Scourge the Hedgehog, plotting to take over Mobius, hears of Eggman and Nega's plan. He realizes if they succeed, he'll fail. He is alone, nobody to help him. As he kicks a can to the side of a building, a fire sparks. Scourge backs away, as he sees a certain dark hedgehog take his first steps in a while. Clawing his way out of the flames comes Mephiles. It is revealed Iblis is holding open a portal back to the real world, and it closes as Iblis loses strength.

story of team future: Silver and Blaze are in the future, which is run by iblis. so they meet mephalis who tells them sonic is the cause of it. so they all go back in time and go through various lands to find sonic, with mephalis leading the way, as SPEED. silver as flight. and Blaze as power. mephalis can do homing attack, and dark tornado, which sends out mini monsters. silver can levitate with the others hanging to his feet, and throw the others at enemies with telepothy, and blaze uses fire.
