Another "two-fer" commercial minute from Colgate-Palmolive. Ajax detergent is now marketed by Phoenix Brands (under license from Colgate)- and, sadly, 'nanlisa' is correct about Lustre-Creme shampoo....
@fromthesidelines And Sun Products acquired the Unilever (Lever Brothers) laundry products line, including Wisk and All...the latter which, incidentally, Lever Brothers acquired from the company that developed it--Monsanto Chemical. Unlike Dow and Union Carbide, Monsanto didn't have the knack for selling items directly to consumers (as opposed to doing things like marketing synthetic fibers to companies that make fabrics).
Oh yes, Norman Rose is the announcer in the "Ajax" ad.

I used Lustre Creme when I was younger and I just loved it! It really made my nice and soft. It hasn't been on the market since 1974,

@mccarrpo heh heh...naughty!
I would find a shampoo jar very annoying in the shower...if you took the lid off, water would get all in it.
