it's a varial heel.. haha. wanna show how to land them clean? they're not even hard.. the easiest way that i learned them was to hang my front foot off literally like halfway off. it seems hard to balance but it helps so much. oh and put your back foot just barely on the board near the pocket like for a hardflip. just push your back foot forward and throw your front foot out as far as possible, and kinda jump backwards like for a frontside pop shuv/frontside shuv. hope that helps.
