yes, very elegant and stylish. I think the old ROC style was to reflect gov't ownership at the time...now it's gov't ownership with a flair of creativity.
ya, true, I agree with what you said about the location. But i guess that's the case with many international airports-they're further away from the main city. The new CAL park and Novotel Hotel is truly fascinating! esp how it's built like the 華 word
It's a similar case with Rome, (but not politically per se) official want it called Leonardo DaVinci, but we travellers insist on calling it Fiumicino, named for the village/region around it is built in (as with Taoyuan). I'm looking forward to going back to TPE for new shooting.
Hey thanks, I am aware of that, but when this footage was taken, it was then known as CKS. Although for political reasons, it makes sense to change it (as they did). But CKS does sound better..as oppose to Taoyuan (the region/area-anyone unfamiliar with Taipei has no idea what that means) on which the Airport was built. I've been to Taipei many times and have a special relation with the place. With CAL as well! But thanks, dynastyflyer, for viewing my vid!
Great Video!!! Congratulations
