  • Guys, he *said* he wasn't drilling Lexan! He explained that he doesn't use Lexan because it won't break off when you hit it head first, so you'll break your neck in an accident. And at 4:10 he says "Our material is plexiglass, it's very flexible..." and he shows off how he's flexing it.

It'd be less confusing if he titled the video, "Why we use plexiglass instead of Lexan". Or better yet, "How to properly drill a hole in a windshield" since that's what the video was mostly about anyway.

  • That's not lexan!

  • Lexan is like fucking unbreakable. And what the hell drill bit is that, you would have to be a total tit to use the one he suggests to use first. I have drilled acrylic with normal drill bits successfully, it was a bastard but you can do it. But lexan is entirely different!!! You could drill lexan with a missile and it wouldnt crack

  • @reed00112 the drilling lexan with a missile part really cracked me up haha

  • Drilling acrylic is a whole lot different than drilling polycarbonate. As an experienced plastic fabricator of 20+ years, I have to question what this guy is trying to accomplish. Sounds like he is trying to promote a drill bit......or did I miss something?

  • you got scammed, polycarbonate does NOT crack

  • thanks for the tip, but dude, wear safety glasses, for pete's sake!

  • haha..."you take does...and chuck them to hell!"

  • Your not drilling lexan if it is cracking.....
