Ron Paul is fairly moderate, even for a Republican (he questioned the Patriot Act), so I guess that's still OK. What bothers me is her constant "media baiting". Sibel Edmonds only wants the media to talk about Sibel Edmonds, not about the facts she knows. By insisting on being interviewed by a mainstream US media outlet (and refusing the BBC's offer), she is effectively protecting the Bush administration.

No, "Sibel Edmonds" is not a persian name. Sibel Deniz Edmonds born in Iran because his father was practicing medicine in Iran. He was an Azerbaijani doctor. After that they left Iran to Turkey and after that to USA.
