  • @phazer101 as strange as it seems there are a ton of 57 Chevy's in Cuba...I was watching 60 minutes , they get some parts in a round about way..for the most part when the carbs wear out they graft a Russian carb to the manifold.

  • They look good in black or red, unfortunately nearly all of the 57 Bel Airs that you see are either black or red, or at least it seems like it. Nice car though, truly one of the greatest Chevy body styles..

  • Wow, does this bring back memories of my first car I bought in 1972, I was 16. I had to sell it in 1996 cause I needed the money. I swore I'd never sell it. Only difference was my car was original yellow with black and silver interior that I painted black. this video brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for a great video, beautifull 57!

  • Man what a car. My grandpa has a 57 with a corvette L-82 and a five speed ford transmission. Man that thing will FLY! It's dark blue with metal flakes and it has a flamethrower kit on it. It is amazing. I love my grandpa's car. I could never imagine him selling it. I feel for ya though man. I know wat it's like putting years of hard work and money into a car and then one day losing it all.

  • Sorry you had to sell her after all that hard work. I'm building one now and I know how much time and effort it takes!

  • I guess i dont know the reasons it was sold so maybe i shouldn,t say this .That car is so f en awesome.I would not have sold that ever,i would have been buried with it .Sad to see it had to go.
