You are so right about this movie. It sure sends the wrong message & you know it affects the way young ppl think even though its not real. I totally think the 1st one was just really bad in terms of acting, effects, character, story, sense, ect. but the others were better. I sure couldnt understand why the vampires didnt have fangs.

I could only read the book on the premise that it was just build up to the second, which I could nt sit through as it was even worse. If you've ever known a teenager that does nothing but whine about how their life sucks and then go on to do stupid shit, imagine one is bitching at you for 500+ pages about a creepy vampire stalker who wants to drink her blood but whom she sees NOTHING wrong with, and you have the Twilight saga. And guess what, this turns out FINE for her, I'v heard.

Um there are a few things you did not touch on that I think you should have. One, EDWARD IS A FREAKING VAMPIRE!(Can't believe I'm actually saying that) Bella knows this, and instead of running away screaming "OH MY GOD DON'T EAT ME!" like any sane person, she says "DO ME RIGHT NOW!" And I'm pretty sure if he is undead that it is considered nercophelia. Also, Edward is so abusive. He freaking breaks her car so she can't hang out with her friends, so she will stay with him. LAME!

I started reading the book once.....It felt like I was still reading the beggining after chapter 1 ( NOT KIDDING ) So I stopped reading it :) This year I got bord and watched the movie for shits and giggles ( BIG MISTAKE ) LOL TWILIGHT BLOWS! In the movie Bella's mouth was opened a lot for no reason. I think she was offering a blow job for any sparkling fag or furry! >:D

One of my roommates was watching it because a female friend of his wanted to take him to see New Moon, and I caught a glimpse of it. It was during that whole "YOU KNOW WHAT I AM. SAY IT" scene. Oh god it was so horrible I had to leave the room I was giggling so hard.

It was entertaining, the acting was beyond bad though. I laughed so hard during some parts of the movie. It was targeted to attract teen age girls, most of witch do not care nor realize how bad the movie actually is. It was like soft core porn to all these teenage girls.

movie was bad but not for the reasons claimed in this video (to me). the girl looking past his odd behavior shows that she loves him despite superfical flaws. this video seems to be saying that she should have been shallow and dislike him for those superficial reasons, much like the stupid teenage girls who love this movie are taught to do.

No, I think you're way off here. Edward's flaws aren't superficial; you can't tell he's a creepy undead stalker by looking at him. On the surface, he's supposed to be this amazingly attractive male specimen- and I get the impression that it's his superficial attractiveness that lets Bella overlook his hidden flaws. She's with him cause she thinks he's a hottie, not because she's truly in love.

And that's completely the wrong message to send to little 12 year old girls.

New Moon is bad. It has bad characters, bad interaction and focused on a whiny emo 17 year old pining for her 109 year old vampire ex boyfriend.

What's so shitty about New Moon is that I saw potential. It might have actually been a decent movie if you strip out all the bad characters and make a movie about a vampire / werewolf war.
